WHAT DOES A JOINT TEAM MEAN?
Having joint teams allows more players to take the field and to form teams where neither club may have enough players individually.
Each player registers with their home club and then be provided free membership of the other club.
On game days, players will wear the shorts and socks of their home club. The team will generally wear the jersey of the lead club, although there may be occasions where the jersey of the other club is worn.

PLAYING OUTSIDE YOUR AGE CATEGORY
If you were born one year after the normal age cut-off for a team, you may still be able to play in that age group.
For example, if you were born in 2013, you may still be able to join the Under 15โ€™s team. To do this, the Clubs will need to apply for a dispensation on your behalf.
If this applies to you, please contact us.
If you were born one year before the normal age cut-off โ€” for example, born in 2010 and wanting to join the U15 team โ€” a much higher level of dispensation is required. This is only likely to be approved in very limited circumstances.

COSTS
If you have not played for the Club at all this year, registration costs $170 for the 7โ€™s season.
If you played XVโ€™s, registration for the 7โ€™s season is $26.50
If you played 7โ€™s already, you are already registered and need do nothing more.
Registration includes a training shirt. You can purchase Club shorts and socks if you do not already have them.

๐Ÿ‰ REGULAR SEASON DONE โ€” AND WEโ€™RE INTO THE FINALS! ๐Ÿ‰

This weekend marked the final round of the regular season for our junior Snakes, and what a way to finish! ๐Ÿพ

๐Ÿง’ U6โ€“U9s
Our youngest Snakes finished the regular season with a bang at the BJRU Gala Days, enjoying plenty of rugby and the chance to take on teams they donโ€™t normally see.
But theyโ€™re not done yet! Theyโ€™ll be back in action in a couple of weeks at the Pine Rivers Pumas Rugby Union U6โ€“U9 Carnival. ๐Ÿ™Œ

๐Ÿ”ฅ U13s & U14s โ€” FINALS BOUND!
It was nail-biting stuff on Sunday, with our U14s facing a genuine do-or-die battle to secure their place in the finals.
Despite going down in a tight contest, the boys kept the score close enough to secure a crucial bonus point โ€” and a place in the finals! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’ช
That means both our U13s and U14s are through to the finals series! ๐Ÿ†
Congratulations to both teams โ€” the hard work continues!
๐Ÿ“ข Finals details coming soon.

๐Ÿ”ฅ WEโ€™RE FINISHING THE REGULAR SEASON WITH A BANG! ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Itโ€™s a huge weekend for the Snakes as we wrap up the regular season! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‰

๐Ÿง’ U6โ€“U9 BJRU Gala Days
Our youngest snakes are heading off to BJRU Gala Days, giving them the chance to take on teams they donโ€™t normally get to play. And the U8s are bringing the action home, hosting an incredible 61 teams right here at Caboolture! ๐Ÿ™Œ

๐Ÿ† U13s & U14s โ€“ FINALS ON THE LINE!
Our U13s and U14s are playing for their place in the finals, and theyโ€™ve got home-field advantage! ๐Ÿ’ช ๐Ÿ“ฃ So get down to the club on Sunday, make some noise and get behind the teams!

17/08/2026

This Saturday, the 22nd August, Caboolture is hosting the BJRU U8 Gala Day. This is the last round of the season for this age grade and all 61 teams in the competition are converging on Petersen Road to play against other teams they do not normally meet. The theme of the day is the Rugby World Cup so teams are encouraged to dress up in celebration of any of the 24 Rugby World Cup nations.

This is a huge undertaking for one venue with eight fields running from 8am until the final whistle at 1.30pm. To ensure the day is a success we need your help!
We are needing volunteers to fill the following roles:

FIELD MARSHAL
A critical position that helps keep the day running smoothly, answering queries, keeping the supporters organised and ensuring the fields are safe for the players. We need at least one field marshal per two U8 fields. We will be breaking the day up into hour chunks to allow volunteers a break or to offer just a short amount of time if thats all they have.

MEDIC
We need at least four medics on site at all times. To qualify as a medic, you need a current first aid certificate plus complete the short online โ€œFirst aid Attendant Kids Rugbyโ€ accreditation available for free on the Rugby Explorer Leaning Centre. Just like with the field marshal roles, we are happy to break the day into shifts.

FIELD SET UP AND PACK DOWN
We need help with field set up (6.45am to 7.45am) and field pack down (1.30pm)

PARKING ATTENDANT
There are going to be a lot of cars around so between 7.30am and 8.30 we are looking for someone to help get the early arrivers organised.

COFFEE VENDOR
Perhaps the most critical role of the day. If you know of a coffee van who would be interested in coming down and keeping the 1000+ adults appropriately caffeinated, please get to to contact us ASAP

For all roles, please drop a note as a reply or email [email protected] letting us know which roles you can take and the times you are available.
