✨ CELEBRATING OUR TAP DANCERS ✨

We are so incredibly proud of all our dancers who completed their Tap Exams this year! 👞🎶

The results were outstanding, with very high marks across the board, and every dancer should feel so proud of what they achieved.

Exams represent months of commitment, practice, perseverance, attention to detail and the confidence to step into the exam room and give your very best.

A huge congratulations to every dancer who participated — your hard work certainly showed! 💛 A special mention to MAEVE who received the TWO highest scored in the studio with a whopping 99% for her Tap 4 Alternate grade & 97.5% for her Tap 4!!(Fun Fact; Maeve learnt her Tap 4 Alternate syllabus in just 3 months).

And of course, a special thank you to our wonderful TAP teachers; Miss Candice, Miss Lilli & Miss Charlotte for the time, care and encouragement they poured into preparing our students.

🥗 FUELLED FOR DANCE
Nutrition • Energy • Wellbeing for Dancers & Athletes

Do you ever wonder whether your dancer is eating enough to support their training? What they should eat before a long rehearsal, performance, competition or exam? Or what to pack when they’re going straight from school to hours of dance?

Perhaps you’d simply like to better understand how nutrition affects their energy, concentration, growth, recovery and performance — and separate some of the common food myths from the facts.

Fuelled for Dance is a practical workshop with our guest dietitian, designed specifically for growing dancers and their parents.

We’ll explore:
• How to fuel before classes, rehearsals, exams and performances
• What to eat afterwards to support recovery
• Easy school-to-dance and rehearsal-day snacks
• Hydration and recognising dehydration
• Avoiding the afternoon energy crash
• Protein, carbohydrates and fats for growing dancers
• Why breakfast matters
• Energy drinks, skipped meals and common food myths
• Positive body image, health and wellbeing
• Practical ideas for long rehearsal and performance days

If supporting your dancer’s health, energy and wellbeing matters to you, we highly recommend joining us for this special workshop.

And importantly, this isn’t about dieting or creating “perfect” eating habits. It’s about helping young dancers understand how to fuel, nourish and care for their growing bodies while doing something they love.

✨ Parents are encouraged to attend alongside their dancer / athlete.

Every family will also receive practical take-home resources with ideas they can continue using well beyond the workshop.

What a great day at Encore Dance Challenge! ✨

Competition days are about so much more than placings.

They are an opportunity for our dancers to build confidence, learn how to perform under pressure, work together as a team, receive valuable feedback and continue growing as young artists.

We were incredibly proud of the effort, commitment and performance our dancers brought to the stage today. Even in sections where we were the only competitors, the focus remained the same — to perform with purpose, give their best and use every opportunity as a chance to improve.

A HUGE congratulations to our 14/U Jazz troupe, Sushi, who also received a Major Award for COSTUME! 🏆✨

That is what our competition program is really about — developing not only capable dancers, but confident, committed and supportive young people.

And of course, a huge thank you to our wonderful parents for the hair, quick changes, organisation and encouragement behind the scenes. These days are always a team effort. 💛

Well done, dancers — another wonderful day of learning, performing and growing together.

Our DanceStep students have been busy learning, growing and stepping into their leadership roles! 💫

Through DanceStep, our students get to experience what happens on the other side of the classroom — learning how to assist, encourage younger dancers, communicate with confidence and become positive role models within our studio.
