How often do we allow external events to disrupt our peace? Very often 😅
Yoga teaches us a different way: the practice of non-reaction.
As we move, breathe, and cultivate awareness, we learn to let emotions pass through without becoming consumed by them. We begin to recognise that we do not have to respond to every thought, feeling, or trigger.
The pause is the practice.
Non-reaction is not about suppressing emotions. It is about creating space between stimulus and response, allowing us to choose how we show up rather than reacting automatically.
When we stop stirring the mind, it settles. Like muddy water left undisturbed, clarity naturally emerges.
Regular yoga practice develops greater steadiness, presence, and peace amidst life’s changing circumstances.
