An outstanding opportunity to race a 3-year-old filly by Group 1-winning sire Pierata from the winning mare Blackboots.
This quality filly has progressed through her education exactly as hoped and completed an impressive jumpout last week, placing her on the doorstep of her racing career. Her most recent jumpout was full of merit, she showed good gate speed and ran third to her lightly raced stablemate who we know is a high class horse. The feedback following this jumpout is attached to this post. She is recently named and will soon head to the racetrack for her debut.
Her sire Pierata was one of Australia’s elite sprinter-milers, earning over $5.8 million, winning the Group 1 All Aged Stakes, and placing multiple times at the highest level against Australia’s best horses. Since retiring to stud, Pierata has made an exciting start to his stallion career, already producing stakes performers and Group-winning progeny, cementing his reputation as one of Australia’s emerging young sires.
On the dam’s side, Blackboots was herself a metropolitan-winning mare and this filly is her first foal, offering owners the opportunity to race the foundation horse of a young family with significant upside. The female family has already produced black-type performers, adding further depth to an already exciting pedigree.
