I’ve shed too many tears this morning. Lost hundreds of dollars & nothing I can do about it. Small business is getting harder and harder… and some days I honestly don’t know if I can keep going. If people don’t follow, like or comment - our posts don’t get seen. Instagram doesn’t share them. And shops like mine can’t survive off silence. I’m embarrassed to even ask for likes or comments… embarrassed to ask people to shop small… it makes me feel like an idiot. But the truth is… small businesses don’t have millions of dollars.. we re real people trying to make a go of it! We have stress. We have fear. We have nights where we lie awake wondering if any of this is worth it. Why can’t we all build each other up? Why can’t we be proud of our friends, family, and even strangers giving small business a go? Because trust me, there’s nothing to be jealous of. It’s long hours, huge stress, and often no pay left for the owner at the end. I try so hard doing the try-ons, the new brands, the late nights packing orders, the early mornings being a mum.. and today I just feel… broken. I don’t know if it’s all worth it. I don’t know if I should just stay home and be a mum. I’m sharing this because small business owners are human too. And we’re doing our best to keep our towns, our dreams, and our hearts alive. ❤️

A very belated update from the PSC HBT Insurance Brokers Autumn Dressage Championships at Boneo Park. Helmut and I competed in our first para test, scoring over 70% in both the Grand Prix A (70.962%) and Grand Prix B (70.263%) tests!🥇🥇My goal was to have a confident, consistent test without any major mistakes and that’s what we did. We are a very new partnership still, we have such a long way to go. There is so much more to come, I cannot wait to be able to show Helmut’s potential. Already, the difference from this competition to today is insane!!
