The Goat Track

Years after asking, the council have finally given a start date for cleaning up the bottom end of the track - August/September 2021. Time will tell.

Has anyone walked down the track to the leash free beach recently? Is it overgrown again and does the council need to attend to it for safety reasons?

Who is up for a working bee next weekend?

Need somewhere in Mornington to park a car and trailer for free during summer, when the beach car parks are full and you want to launch your kayak. A bit of a walk back up the hill, but you are within a few hundred metres of prime fishing territory.

The ramp has taken a beating over the last week and now there is a 50cm drop at the end of it.

The ramp and the last bit of track down to the beach are looking a bit untidy after the recent strong winds.
