MCC Open Doubles Handicap Tournament for 2025 was played on Saturday 15th March with 10 pairs playing to find the winners. Congratulations to the players form Sale and Leongatha who were rewarded for their effort in travelling by winning the competition.

MCC member, Janine Sisson and her playing partner Damien Hadfield won the Victorian Plate at the recent competition held at Cairnlea.

We acknowledge the positive impact on our club from the coaches making themselves available to teach new skills to our new and existing members. The coaching sessions are a valuable improvement in the standard of play at our club.

Christmas 2024 and we have held our special lunch together. Great food, great company and another great year at our croquet club.

The first of this season's venue hires ran really well with lots of participants trying the game of croquet and enjoying some competitive spirit.

The new line marking machine gets the job done so much easier than the old one. Very grateful to the member who marks out the courts and runs the application of paint. Clubs like ours run on the members who volunteer to do the jobs required.

October 5 was our inaugural HiLo Doubles invitational competition. We were delighted to have players from Sandringham, Wonthaggi and the Peninsula clubs come to compete. It was deemed a most successful day of play and socialising and we hope to hold more similar events in the future. Big thanks to our Captain, Terry who ran a very tight program, and congratulations to Janine on her win.

After 10 years of dedicated service to our club, Pam Mason has been awarded Life Membership. Volunteering has its rewards as well as being acknowledge by appreciative members.

A clear, but cold day at Bunnings Mornington to hold the BBQ, which raised much needed funds. Surprisingly we sold a lot of cans of soft drink! And nearly exhausted our sausage reserves. Big thank you to all our members who gave up 2 hours to run the BBQ. And a shout out for helping community groups!

We held a General Member's Meeting on 2 July and awarded 5 members with their 10 year pins. Well done for staying active with MCC! Next award 20 year pins?

A cold and wet Saturday had our members running the Bunnings BBQ. We sold all the snags, but not many cold drinks! No surprise there! Enough $$ raised to help us to be able to upgrade some equipment. Thank you !
