Wow. I knew this girl was strong but holy heck today we tested her deadlift max. 102.5kg later.

๐ฉ I had a serious case of Monday this afternoon... I really didn't wanna go to the gym, almost cancel my 4pm PT session, I had to force myself to go... ๐กA good coach knows what to do on those "unmotivated" days, mine certainly does!
For months I had been stucked on a 70kg DL... Today not only I was finally able to lift 75kg she proceeded to set up the 80kg and I did it ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ
So happy to finally break that pleautau! Thanks for the push

Today's training session was tough on my lungs. Part of it was 8 of these bad boys with sled pulls - 4mins to complete, whatever time was left I could rest. 5 rounds felt like 50. Then there was more...... I need to increase my aerobic capacity big time, but I'm working on it.
Touch and go clean and jerks need some perfecting too.
So after getting annoyed that I couldn't hit my previous PB deadlift this morning, even though I haven't done any deadlifting or exercises that would assist in increasing my deadlift (funny that isn't it?) in weeks.

Instead of packing up I did 5 rounds of this to improve strength in my glutes, hamstrings and core.

5 years difference! Hard to compare from the angle of the photos but a big change is obvious. On the left I am scrawny, never exercise and self conscious of my body. On the right I'm about 25kgs heavier, active, lift weights and love my body and what it can do.
Most people don't understand why I would want to look the way I do, or think I have too much muscle for a female, but that's okay. If you have to ask, you won't understand. You can't explain how good strong feels.
Some people like, love, dislike and hate things. It's not for us to judge what they do and why they do it. Think before you question someone's belief or passion.
