Strength training is one of the best investments you can make for your long-term health.💪
A study published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine involving more than 140,000 adults found that those who completed just 90 minutes to 2 hours of strength training per week significantly reduced their risk of premature death.
🏋️ Benefits included:
✅ 13% lower risk of death from any cause
❤️ 19% lower risk of death from cardiovascular disease
🧠 27% lower risk of death from neurological diseases, including dementia
The message is simple… lifting weights isn’t just about building muscle, it’s about building a healthier, stronger future.

Sometimes we need to stop & remind ourselves just how lucky we are to have strong, capable, healthy bodies.
We don’t have to exercise.
We GET to exercise. 🙏
Because the reality is, as we age our bodies naturally decline. We lose muscle mass, mobility, strength, balance & bone density — and with that can come the loss of one of life’s greatest gifts… independence. 🥺
Ageing is inevitable, & a privilege.
But how we age, can be influenced by our choices right now. Take nothing for granted.
Train now for the life you want later.💪

Some things will never feel easy… but they can feel easier. 😊
Running in the rain.
Cold mornings.
Low motivation.
Sometimes… just running. 😂
But with the right crew… it hits different.
More laughs.
Distracting conversation.
Less excuses.
More accountability.
Connections.
Less doubt.
Same hard… just a whole lot better together. 👊🤗

No-one can eat well for you.
No-one can move your body for you.
No-one can lift weights for you.
At the end of the day…
Your choices are yours.
Your priorities are yours.
Your effort is yours.
Your habits are yours.
Your results are yours.
So choose wisely.
Choose the version of you that you keep saying you want to become.
Then show up… even when it’s hard.
And while no one can do it for you…
you don’t have to do it alone.
Find your people. Show up. Do the work. Own it. 🔥💪

We’re all carrying something…
Different stories, different struggles, different seasons of life.
Different ages, different abilities… & completely different paths that led us here.
And yet, side by side, we show up.👊
Because deep down, we all understand the same thing — that moving our bodies matters. That looking after our health matters. That staying connected matters.
And some days, it’s not motivation that gets us there… it’s the people beside us. The chats, the laughs, the dancing, the quiet encouragement. The feeling that you’re not doing it alone 🤝
What’s truly special is the mix of people in this space. From those just starting out… to those with extraordinary life experiences — including a quietly extraordinary individual who’s worked alongside David Attenborough & been honoured with an AO… yet carries it with such humility, you’d never know unless someone told you. Our very own David, you are remarkable!
No ego. Just people. Showing up, supporting each other, and doing their best.
That’s the kind of community you don’t take for granted 🧡
