The Bays are holding a bowel cancer awareness evening at The Bays Cancer Care Centre on Tuesday 20 October, 5.30pm-7.15pm. Each year over 15,300 Australians are diagnosed with bowel cancer, with 1 in 9 new bowel cancer cases occurring in people under age 50. It is Australia’s second deadliest cancer, claiming over 5,300 lives each year. However, if detected early, it is over 90% curable. We want people to know the signs, understand screening and know when to seek help. 💗 Supporting a Cause Close to Our Hearts 💗

This June, our wonderful Physiotherapist Marzi is taking part in the Big Bold Walk to raise funds for Breast Cancer Trials, helping to support vital research into better treatments and outcomes for those affected by breast cancer.

Many of our patients know Marzi for her caring and compassionate approach at Pinnacle Physiotherapy, but she also works as the Physiotherapist for The Bays Hospital Icon Cancer Centre, supporting people throughout their cancer journey and recovery.

Marzi sees firsthand the impact that cancer has on individuals and families, which makes this cause especially meaningful to her.
