We opened our greens for the season yesterday despite a typical Melbourne day of weather with hail, rain and sunshine. What a cracking Thursday we had at Mornington Civic Bowls Club. Our sponsor was Viva Hearing (Main St Mornington). D explained to us the importance of Social activities and interactions as we age and said that bowling and being part of a Club was a perfect model to follow. Yesterday at Mornington Civic we had a great day called “Battle of the Sexes”. Rob Bankier organised the day for us and he did a brilliant job. The winners were happy and we all played to win! Well done to everyone who attended 🥇🏅👏👌🏾🤞👍
Yesterday was our favourite day of the week at Mornington Civic BC. Our wonderful member Peter K sponsored the day and oh boy did we have some fun. There was plenty to cheer about as Peter and Jacqui also celebrated their 80th birthdays this week. Then to top it off Pam came in and presented the winning football tippers their prizes. Our place just rocks on. 🥰🤩🍀💕😉

So this was yesterday at Civic Bowls Club! Our Thursdays sure pull a crowd. Our lucky card game went off with $400 going home with one of our visiting bowlers. The meat trays went to our lucky winners and the weather was pleasant enough too. Yesterday we thanked all our sponsors and highlighted them all via our in-house TV system, we simply could hold these days without their valued contribution.
Our sunny Tuesday bowls. The winners were happy although Johnny didn’t get the money. We also said a big thank you to our favourite baking lady Jan and surprised her with a present. Lots of laughs, good mates and playing lawn bowls doesn’t get much better than that
A fun Friday night at Civic. Congrats to Gail on snagging the members draw. We had lots of birthday celebrations this week, happy birthday to you all. Then the meat tray raffles started and concentration on the numbers coming out was pretty fun. 🤩 👏🤙😉🍀Enjoy your weekend everyone….
