Tomorrow is Umpire Appreciation Round!

As we head into the final rounds of the season, we’re proud to once again bring back Umpire Appreciation Round. It’s a great reminder that umpires play a special and important role in our game. Without them, there would be no game at all!

Every week our umpires step onto the diamond to help keep the game fair, safe, and running smoothly. They give up their time, handle the pressure of making tough calls, and do it all for the love of the sport. It’s not always an easy job, but it’s a vital one that keeps our competition going.

With finals now only one week away, the intensity on the field will continue to rise. This is the perfect time for everyone — players, coaches, and spectators — to show their respect and appreciation for the people in blue. A simple thank you or a show of support can go a long way.

Let’s work together this round to create a positive environment and acknowledge the contribution our umpires make to the game we all love. 👏🥎 We would like to also remind clubs to vote for the Lyle Tyler and Rookie Umpire of the year awards!

And a gentle reminder, all clubs are allowed to wear pride colours and uniform to account for the fact that we lost it last week due to the weather ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🩷
