Foster brought a brand of footy that had a seismic impact on the HFL, making him thoroughly deserving of legend status!

BACK 2 BACK PREMIERS MACCLESFIELD 🏆

Maccy Land is Premiership Land! 🔴⚫

Congratulations to the Macclesfield Football Club — 2026 HFL Country Division A Grade Premiers and, most importantly, BACK-TO-BACK PREMIERS!

After breaking through in 2025, the Bloods have done it again in 2026, completing another outstanding season and making it two premierships in two years.

Macclesfield came into the Grand Final in terrific form, including a dominant 17.12 (114) to 4.2 (26) finals victory over Bridgewater on their way to the decider. Their opponent Kersbrook had earned its place with a 29-point Preliminary Final victory, setting up a Macclesfield–Kersbrook A Grade Grand Final for the first time since 1997.

From everyone at the Hills Football League, congratulations to the players, coaches, support staff, committee, volunteers, members and the entire Macclesfield community.

Premierships are hard to win.
Winning them back-to-back is something special.

This Saturday 19 September, the Klose’s Foodland Finals Series heads to Nairne Oval, with FIVE Grand Finals and premiership glory on the line from the first bounce at 8:30am through to the A Grade showdown at 2:30pm.
