๐ŸŒผ Spring is just around the cornerโ€ฆalthough someone forgot to tell our pool itโ€™s still winter.

Itโ€™s been sitting at a beautiful 28ยฐC all season, making those chilly Perth mornings and evenings just that little bit easier.

Warm water. Crystal-clear conditions. Blue skies. Spotless Pool. It really doesnโ€™t get much better than this.

Whether youโ€™re looking to take your game to the next level in our Winter Performance Programme, develop your skills through our Winter Academy, or youโ€™re counting down to FlippaBall and DSC returning this summer, thereโ€™s never been a better time to be part of the UWA Water Polo Club.

๐Ÿ’™ Where winter feels a little more like spring.

The latest edition to our lost property department !!

Whilst the sale of swim goggles would be a great fundraiser for our club, weโ€™d rather reunite them with their owner.

Recognise a pair? Please collect them before the wall needs an extension!

๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿšจ Announcement: New Torps Men's Head Coach ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿšจ

We are delighted to announce the appointment of George Ford as the new UWA Torpedoes Men's Head Coach.

George will lead our Men's Senior Team while also overseeing the development of our wider Men's program. His appointment represents an exciting step forward for the club as we continue to strengthen our high-performance environment and create clear pathways for players across all levels.

George brings an exceptional sporting background to the role. As a player, he represented Australia at two Olympic Games, competing at the highest level of international water polo. Additionally, George played over 200 AWL games for the Torps and was a key member of the championship winning team in 2016.

His experience, professionalism, and understanding of elite performance will be an incredible asset to our athletes and coaching group.

As George transitions into the next stage of his career in coaching we are thrilled that he has chosen to do so with the UWA Torpedoes. This is an exciting opportunity for both George and our club and we look forward to supporting his coaching journey while benefiting from his knowledge, leadership, and passion for the game.

Please join us in welcoming George to the UWA Torpedoes coaching team. We look forward to what lies ahead for our Men's program under his leadership along with the positive impact he will have across the club.

Welcome, George!
