Lilydale Eagles Soccer Club

Our annual Summer Academy is back for 5-8 year old future stars!

This year's program focuses on four core skills every young player needs: Striking the Ball, First Touch, 1v1s, and Running with the Ball. Delivered through a fun, station-based format, sessions are led by our junior coaches and senior players — all Working with Children Check certified.

📍 Where: Morrison Reserve, Mt Evelyn

📅 When:
Phase 1: Thursday September 24th – Thursday December 3rd
Phase 2: Thursday January 21st – Thursday February 11th

Sessions run weekly on Thursday evenings, 6:00pm for 1 hour — 15 sessions in total!

💬 Communication: All communication will be via the Spond App, with invites sent once registration is complete.

💰 Cost: Just $180 per player

👕 Every player will also receive a sun smart shirt to keep, so they're ready to play safely under the sun all season long.

Have you been thinking about getting back into soccer, trying it for the first time, or just looking for a fun way to stay active over summer?

We're looking for women and girls aged 14+ to join our Lilydale Eagles Women's Summer Sevens team!

✅ All ages welcome (14+)
✅ All skill levels welcome – beginners through to experienced players
✅ Great way to keep fit, make new friends and enjoy the game in a relaxed, social environment

Training: Monday nights at Morrison Reserve until the season starts.

Games: Monday nights over summer at Knox Regional Football Centre.

Whether you've played for years or have never kicked a ball before, we'd love to have you involved.

A tireless volunteer for the Lilydale Eagles Soccer Club, Rodger Taylor is the man who does it all.

An aptly appointed Junior Program Coordinator, Rodger pours his heart into the juniors – not only managing the program’s admin and uniforms, but also coaching the U14’s and running skill session for all ages groups.

Rodger cares deeply about the club and is always looking for ways to improve the programs that Lilydale offers. He embodies the very values of the club.

The soul of the Junior Program, Rodger is a worthy recipient of this week’s Club Legend.

The Lilydale Eagles Masters are chasing a few extra players to help finish off a big season. We’re currently sitting top of the ladder, playing Friday night football, and backing ourselves to win the league — we just need a few more numbers to get us there.
Great bunch of lads, great culture, plenty of laughs, and still enough competitiveness to pretend the hamstrings are fine.
