What a great night and awesome turn out for our Limestone Coast Sports Sampling last night. The community got to try Wheelchair Basketball and Boccia. In partnership with SILC - Sports Inclusive Limestone Coast we look forward to offering more inclusive opportunities in the very near future. Watch this space!!!!!

The SASI Para Unit, in partnership with Estara, is heading to Mount Gambier for a fun and inclusive Para Sport Sampling Session.

Have a go at Wheelchair Basketball and Boccia, explore activities delivered by Sports Inclusive Limestone Coast, and hear from local Paralympian Jed Altschwager, who'll share his experiences and insights into the Paralympic pathway.

Whether you're new to sport or looking to take the next step, this is a great opportunity to get involved and learn more about the support available through the SASI Para Unit.

Walking Football Program Launched.

Fantastic to see this free program kick off last night. Lots of fun had by all.

Walking football is a modified version of soccer, with modified rule including walking only and no body contact. This program is designed for FUN and SOCIAL CONNECTION so come along and give it a try Thursday nights 5:30pm-7:30pm! All abilities welcome and no prior experience is required.

Switch the Play Launch

Thank you to everyone who attended our launch, either in person or online, for the Switch the Play Mental Health program for Sporting Clubs in the Limestone Coast. Also a huge thank you to the Nangwarry Football and Netball Club. This program started there and having members and officials share their stories so courageously was amazing!!!

This is a vitally important free program for all clubs in our region and will have wide spread benefits, support and resources for members and clubs. Below is the recording of last nights launch. Switch the Play is proudly a locally developed sporting club Mental Health and Wellbeing model successfully established and embedded within Nangwarry Football & Netball Club since 2022. The model is adaptable within all sporting clubs, with ongoing local accessible professional Mental Health support for clubs during and after implementation. Not a fly in, fly out model.
