What an absolutely smashing day out for Ragnarok lifters today at the 618 annual Capo Deadlift competition at Big Shed Brewing!
@goodwilly94percentnatty pulled a huge 305kg deadlift (vid 1) and also took out best overall male lifter in the Capo division for the second year running!
@hantorplz In his first ever competition pulled a massive 275kg deadlift (vid 2)
@travis.ellis1990 Broke a massive milestone hitting his first ever 200kg Deadlift and making it look good! (Vid 3)
One of our former members @j_train__ pulled a huge 270kg while wearing his Ragnarok tshirt (vid 4) we still claim him as he was one of our founding members at Ragnarok!
We couldn't be prouder of our crew and their performances today but also how they conduct themselves at every meet! Congratulations to all lifters, a fantastically run competition as always!

This weekend is CAPO Nationals! 3 of our members have qualified and will be competing. Philip Van Der Hoek and Teds Goodwin will be competing on Saturday 20th from 2.30pm and Carli van der Hoek will be competing on Sunday 21st from 9am. We will be reopen from 12.01am Wednesday morning! Gyms are currently limited to 1 person per 8 square metres which we don't anticipate being an issue with the size of our gym but please make sure you scan in with the QR code or manually sign in every time you enter the gym! We look forward to seeing everyone back in the gym, and look out for our end of lockdown sale starting this week! 💪🏼💪🏼

Some of you have probably heard about and seen these around town, we are required as of today to have all members and visitors to the gym scan the QR code to complete the covid safe check in each time they attend the gym!
You can either download the app or use any QR scan app, most phones will also let you use your camera to hover over the code and link you straight to the check in.
If you don't have a smart phone you still need to check in on the manual form. We will have these codes around the gym as well as the one at the front counter. Please make sure everyone does the right thing and scans in every time you come in 💪🏼

We're gutted to have to announce that gyms are once again having to close as of midnight tonight :(
As it stands it will hopefully only be for 2 weeks and then we can reopen again. We will have some equipment to loan to members for 2 weeks but very limited amounts. If you can get a workout in tonight please do otherwise we'll see you all when we're allowed to reopen! 💪🏼

To say Ragnarok had a great day out at the GPC Adelaide cup at Fuzzy's Power Gym would be an understatement! The team came away with 2 gold medals and 3 Silver medals and so many PBS!
Full recaps of everyone's performances will be coming over the next couple of days but now it's time to rest and bask in the after comp high!

Next Sunday the 26th July we will be hosting a foam rolling class at the gym! The class will be run by Ashley Jackson from the Chiropractic Domain and will cover how to correctly roll your entire body for mobility and recovery.
Class will start at 10am and run for around 45 mins and will be $10 per person. Places are limited so make sure you book in with Carli ASAP to reserve your spot!
