Another huge year for Tiki Touch!
4 teams competed in Mount Gambier with the Wolves, Blues and Roos fighting out the Div 1 finals. Wolves knocked out the Roos in a tense semi final drop off to book a spot with the Blues in the big dance.
The Wolves took out an epic drop off win to get their hands on the Reg.
Over in Portland meanwhile, the Tiki Pirates snuck over the line against Cougars to claim the Div 1 title.
We’ve had Life Members inducted, Winners crowned, heart ache, MVP’s and highest try scorers.
The 2023-24 season has been quite a ride and none of it would be possible without the support and sponsorship from Your Podiatrist.

Congratulations to the Blues & Wolves on making the Div 1 Grand Final!!

The Blues have defied the odds all season, playing with 5 on the field. Many of those games with no subs! 😰
This didn’t stop them from finishing in 1st place and booking a spot straight through to the Granny.

The newly formed Wolves under the guidance of Jac, Jess & Dave have been difficult to beat all year and appear to be hitting their prime at the right time of the season.
Wolves earnt their spot in the big dance after an enthralling contest with Roos in the Semi, victorious in an epic 7-6 drop off.

Can the Wolves mix of experience and youth stand up to the relentless rucking of the Blues? Will the Blues be able to hold out the line play of the Wolves?
We’ll find out tomorrow night at 7pm
This game will be a cracking contest!

Tiki tribes represent at Geelong’s Battle of the Best tournament.
Two teams made the journey to Geelong yesterday. Mikey Meaola and the Pirates turned out a whanau team to compete in Div 3 providing some invaluable tournament experience.
Meanwhile the Tiki Blinders took em on in a very competitive Div 2. They managed to hold their own with two draws and two narrow losses to finish mid table.
Great day had by all!

Time for the big dance!!
Perfect weather for the Mount Gambier Touch Association’s Grand Finals tonight.

The Tiki Fire will be looking to torch the opposition in the Div 3 final kicking off at 6pm.
These young guns are playing their maiden season and have pace to burn!!
Good luck guys!! 🔥

Two club heavy weights will battle out the Div 1 final at 7pm.
The Tiki Roos juggernaut will face off against the Tiki Blues who finished with an impressive win against Penola in the Semi’s.

Dean Watson will have his team primed and ready to go and with the return of the Frost sisters will have some extra pace for the Blues to contend with.

The Blues will not go away easily that’s for sure.
Megan Von Duve has a never say die attitude and always has a solid game plan to back it up.
Luke Johnston is forever dangerous in attack and is backed up Richelle Huntly, the best defensive dive in the competition.

Bloody hard to split these two teams. This game will be intense until the final whistle!!
