NEW CHAPTER IN THE LIFE OF SWIMSKOOL

Swimskool has changed hands and is now owned by Maria Slape of MJ Dance Studio.

The new name for the swim school is: SWIMSTAR ACADEMY

Its new phone number is 0477 965 088.

The same amazing teaching staff and program - no changes on pool deck.

For parents seeking to enrol their children for the first time, contact Maria on the phone number above. For existing students/families/those on Term 4's Waiting List, keep an eye out for a message from Maria in the next week or so.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last 12 and a bit years that I had Swimskool. I have made some wonderful friends and acquaintances over those years. I will miss the children very much and I'll miss my wonderful staff - they are all treasures.

One day, I might see one of our graduates in the Commonwealth or Olympic Games.

PUBLIC HOLIDAY FOR THE KING'S BIRTHDAY - WEEK 6

If you are going to be away for the long weekend and you have swim lessons on either of those days, please let us know ASAP, for staffing purposes.

MONDAY 10TH JUNE - NO LESSONS

However, I will be in the office from 1pm to 3pm if any LAP SWIMMERS would like to do some laps.

PAYMENT FOR TERM LESSONS

The last few terms has seen a rise in people not paying for their term lessons until the last week of the term. I still have to pay my staff/bills whether there is income coming in or not.

Just to clarify, term fees are due and payable on the first lesson of term - this has actually always been the case, and I have been fairly 'cruisy' and have allowed them to be paid by week 4, but unfortunately this has been seen as paying whenever they feel like. However, I now have to tighten up the payment of fees policy.

UNLESS YOU ASK FOR SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS, please pay your fees on the first lesson of term.

IF you require special arrangements, please come and see Laura or I in the office. Special arrangements may include: -

paying a set amount each week or paying for the lessons weekly (or fortnightly if you are a double lesson/ fortnightly family); or,

if there is more than one child in the family, I am happy to receive their fees one at a time.

The majority of people pay their fees in a timely manner (or even well in advance) and I do thank you for it.

BIG, BIG REMINDER THAT NEXT WEEKEND IS EASTER AND WE WON'T BE WORKING!!!

Also, if your children are booked in for Thursdays and you're leaving early to beat the traffic, PLEASE let us know - it helps with staffing.

ALSO, I will be in the office on Easter Monday, 1pm - 3pm to get ready for that week; so if you'd like to do some laps, please come in! Otherwise, back to usual on Tuesday.

Just another reminder that we will not be working that day - please note your diaries.

I will be in the office between 1pm & 3pm if any lap swimmers would like to take advantage of that. Otherwise, enjoy the long weekend.

LONG WEEKEND OF FRIDAY 08/03; SATURDAY 09/03

For staffing purposes, IF you are going to be away that weekend, could you please let us know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I have staff who will be away and I need to know whether I have to replace them or not.
