🏟️🏟️ BEL Community Day🏟️🏟️

What a time to be alive - the Eagles committee are hosting a community day before we crack into the second half of the year’s schedule.

Where: Eagles Sports Complex
When: Saturday 18 July, 0900-1200
Cost: Free!

Grab a stick and a mate and come down for a social gathering. We’ll have the goals out, and will be running some social scrimmages/games with opportunities for kids/players of all ages.

We’ll also have the committee there to help with registrations, merchandise orders, and any queries you might have.

🤩 So come down, have a throw around, I’ll jump in the cage so you can get some shots in (you’re welcome), grab yourself some merch, sign up for BEL or volunteer your time for future events and fundraising. 🤩

It’s an awesome opportunity to grow the game and build our existing community, so I challenge you all to bring 1 person who’s not currently registered but is interested in having a run.

We are back in action with games and trainings resuming! We’ve also got our player registrations open and working so check the link in our (insta) bio to register as an Eagle.

Where: Eagles’ Sports Complex - Weedon Street, Mansfield
When: Saturday, 0830 - 1230

We’ll be at the fields from 0800 preparing for a ladies’ warm up from 0830. The men’s game will take place after the women’s, but block your calendar out and head down to enjoy a full morning of lacrosse. Cheer, support, and play! 🙌🏻

Where: Eagles’ Sports Complex
When: Monday, 1830 - 2030

Training with the Eagles is free; all are welcome to attend and have a run. The club has gear and sticks available, so flick me a message if you’re planning on heading down and need some spares and I’ll coordinate it (provided Mason remembers to get out of bed).

Eagles’ Sign On Day tomorrow!!

Eagles Spots Centre, Mansfield

Come down, have a throw, meet some laxers, and sign up for the year of lacrosse with the Eagles.

We will have our gear, a field booked, and a bunch of merch for sale. Bring your mates!

UQ Field 8, St Lucia

The saints have let us know, due to some field maintenance, tomorrow’s afternoon game will now take place on Field 8.

It’s a great day for lacrosse, block out your calendar - sign up, warm up, and then we will cruise over to St Lucia and get a win!

Here’s the breakdown for this weekend!

🎟️🎟️ Social Indoor Lacrosse 🎟️🎟️

When: Friday night from 1830-1930
Where: Brisbane City Indoor Sports Centre, Coorparoo
Cost: $10 per person

We’ve had a great turnout for Social Indoor this year, so far. Grab your mates and a stick and cruise down to BCISC.

🏆🏆 QLL Field Season - 2026 Game Days 🏆🏆

When: Saturday, from 0830
Where: Home @ Eagles Sports Complex, Mansfield

Saturday will see both a women’s and men’s game. Aim to get there for 0830 where we’ll have our warm up and then kick off the games.

🥅🥅 QLL Field Season - Training 🥅🥅

When: Monday 1830-2000
Where: Eagles Sports Complex, Mansfield

Training next week is back to our usual schedule.

‼️‼️‼️This is a call for support to our Eagles’ community.‼️‼️‼️

The committee recently updated at the 2026 AGM, with almost all the critical positions filled. However, we are looking to fill a mandatory role within the committee.

The Role:
• Secretary – voting member of the committee

Duties of the role (in a nutshell):
• Admin
• Communication
• Support

At BEL, all volunteers (formal or otherwise) are well respected, and there’s no exception for our Club Secretary. You won’t be thrown in the deep end either – the wealth of experience on our committee and the general nature of our volunteers ensures mutual support throughout the year for all roles.

All jokes aside, this is a great opportunity for someone with administrative experience or someone looking to gain that experience. A quick update on the Eagles' schedule heading into the weekend…

🎟️🎟️ Social Indoor Lacrosse 🎟️🎟️

When: Friday night from 1830-1930
Where: Brisbane City Indoor Sports Centre, Coorparoo

We’re starting to move through the first block for the year and have had consistent attendance the last few sessions. It’s a great opportunity to get a stick in your hands and whip the ball around - regardless of your skill level or age.

Social Indoor is fun, friendly, no-contact lacrosse.

When: Monday Nights (starting 02 March) from 1830-2000
Where: Eagles Sports Complex, Mansfield

Our {preseason} training is on again Monday 02 March. Men’s and Women’s field lacrosse from 1830 at our home grounds.

Training is free to everyone, reach out if you are thinking of heading down for the first time or need any clarification of what to bring if you want to give the sport a go!

🏆🏆 QLL Field Season - 2026 Game Days 🏆🏆

There’s been some moving and shaking in the LQ committee and we have been notified of a last minute scrimmage scheduled for Saturday afternoon.

When: Saturday 28 February from 1615
Where: UQ St Lucia, Field 9

We are trying to get confirmation of the field schedule, so watch this space. Once the schedule is finalised, the gameday registration and club team allocation process will be communicated.

While there are a few things still to be confirmed, what is confirmed is the Brisbane Eagles’ Club Sign On Day.

When: Saturday 21 March from 0900-1300

Come on down, sign up for the season, grab yourself some merchandise, and get a few shots on goal. We have the fields booked, the goals will be out, and I might even suit up and humble you.

When: Tonight (Friday 13th) from 1830-1930
Where: Brisbane City Indoor Sports Centre, Coorparoo
Cost: $10 per person

Social indoor is always a massive hit. Open to all ages and skill levels. Come down and join the fun - bring the whole family.

It's fun, friendly, no-contact lacrosse. There's something for all skill levels - whether you're a pro or just beginning your Olympic lacrosse journey, it never hurts to get a stick in your hand.

When: Cancelled due to weather 😢

If you have read this far and still don't know what's going on with the Pre-Season Training - IT'S CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER.

But don't be sad - grab your stick and head to social indoor to get your lax fix. It's indoors, so you won't get wet and it can't be cancelled due to weather.
