Well Mount Isa Heat Swim Team that is a wrap for winter training. It was great to see swimmers through the winter enjoying the pool. Thanks to Splashez Aquatic Centre for ensuring it stayed warm and open all winter. What was even better is seeing some great improvements for those that put the effort in. Well done to you all.

What’s next. We’ll get ready for the new season which will kick off with a come and try night. Grab your friends and get down to the pool. See what it is all about and joint the Isa Heat swimming club.

🌈💦 ARE YOU READY FOR THE SLIDES AGAIN?! 💦🌈

The slides are back and we’re ready for some serious weekend fun!🙌☀️

🛝 Saturday 5th sunday 6th September 1pm to 3:30pm

Coming down for a ride? Here’s a friendly reminder of our slide rules before you arrive 👇

✅ Slide access is INCLUDED with your general pool entry!

📏 Minimum height 1.2m – check yourself against the height sign at the slide entry
🙍 One person at a time on each slide
🩱 Appropriate swimwear only – no buttons, denim or anything that may damage the slide. Smooth nylon swimwear is best
🩺 No riding with health conditions or injuries that may make slide use unsafe, including heart conditions
👓💍📿 No goggles, jewellery, hats, glasses or other loose items on the slides
⚖️ Maximum weight 120kg
🎟️ Slide users will be given an armband – this must remain on while using the slides
👂 Always listen to and follow Lifeguard instructions

These rules are there to keep everyone safe and the slides running smoothly so we can all enjoy the fun! 💦🌈
