Mt Martha Petanque and Social Club

Our annual Bastille Day Luncheon +Petanque will be held on Sunday 12th July - see flyer for more details. It is always a great day so bring along your friends/family to make up a table and enjoy a fun day.

Another great day at the club with our annual Jennifer Shaw Memorial 60+ Mixed Triples Tournament being held last Sunday. Congratulations to Kerrie, Geoff and Roger on their win. Thanks to all the players for their support - we hoped you enjoyed our facilities. A big thanks go to our members who volunteered for a multitude of roles - setting up, pack down, scoring, Tournament Director, catering, running the raffle, flowers etc. - the tournament wouldn't happen without your assistance. Good luck to our club members participating in the Australian National Championships in Adelaide over the Easter weekend. We hope the pistes and the weather are kind to you. Safe travels to all.

The club was delighted to have two members playing in the winning Australian teams at the recent Trans Tasman competition. Congratulations to Ros Allen (60+ Division team) and Fred Vencatasamy (Open Division team) from everyone at the club. We hope you relished the experience, are enjoying your success and are proud of your achievements.

Our congratulations to the Australian teams for winning the 2026 Trans Tasman Trophy. What an incredible weekend at the club. The tournament was defined by great sportsmanship and friendly competition, and we truly hope all players and spectators enjoyed our facilities and hospitality. A massive thanks to all our volunteers - your hard work contributed to the success of the weekend.

Last Sunday we hosted 32 teams playing in our annual mixed triples competition. It's great to have players from so many different clubs supporting the tournament. The weather was very kind and everyone enjoyed playing in such a lovely environment. Thanks to the club members who assisted in the set-up of the terrain, making / selling lunches, baking, selling raffle tickets etc. The results are posted on the MyPetanque website.
