A special shout-out to our U17 boys Isaac, Xavier, Gus, Riley and Rohan, who have been involved in every MPJFL representative opportunity throughout their junior careers, including the New Zealand and Tasmania tours. What an incredible achievement and a testament to their passion, talent and commitment to the game.

We would also like to make an extra special celebration of Poppy, who has made history as South Mornington JFC’s first-ever female Interleague representative. This is a wonderful achievement and a proud milestone for both Poppy and our club. We are excited to see her pave the way for future generations of female footballers. 🌟

One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference
Every night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness. But it doesn't have to be that way. This year Club Sponsor and community advocate, Martin Catania from Schnitz is taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support Australians in need. For one night, He and his wife will be sleeping outside as part of an eye-opening experience to raise awareness and bring home the realities of homelessness.

To help break the devastating cycle of homelessness, They need your support. Will you help them to reach their target? Donating $100 can make a huge difference to people who need it most.

Who doesn't love kicking a goal??? We all do right???

Well that is the focus in the drills this week. To kick a goal and bring a smile to the auskickers!

In our mini matches, we will be splitting up into attack, midfield and defence to teach the game and give all Auskickers an opportunity to play different positions!

⭐️Round Four - Recognition ID Impact Award Nominee ⭐️

This week's nominee is Nicho Salvatore from South Mornington JFC 🤩

Nicho is the definition of someone who goes beyond the scoreboard for the South Mornington JFC and MPJFL community. As Vice President, coach and one of the hardest working people at our club, he consistently puts the needs of players, families and volunteers first.

No task is ever too big or too small — Nicho is always the first to put his hand up wherever help is needed. This was especially evident over the past weekend when many of our regular helpers were unavailable. Without hesitation, Nicho stepped in and took on whatever was required to ensure teams and players still had the best possible experience.

His leadership, commitment and selfless attitude make a genuine impact on our club and embody everything the MPJFL Impact Award stands for.
