What an incredible weekend of Interleague football, and we couldn’t be prouder of the Mounties who represented our club with pride across multiple age groups.

To have 13 players selected is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the talent, dedication and character within this group.

We also had strong representation across other age groups, with Jackson and Blake selected in the U14s, and Oliver, Jethro, Kai and Mitch representing in the U15s.

Adding to an already memorable weekend, some of our Mounties earned individual honours, with Ryan (U16), Paige (U14s), Scarlett (U12s) and Harry (U13s) recognised as Best on Ground performances. An outstanding achievement!

Interleague football provides young players with the opportunity to challenge themselves, learn from new coaches and teammates, and represent their region at a higher level. We know the experience will help each player continue to grow both on and off the field.

❤️🖤🤍 CONGRATS TO OUR BOYS REPRESENTING AT INTERLEAGUE ❤️🖤🤍

This long weekend, we’re incredibly proud to see so many Mount Martha boys pulling on the Interleague jumper and representing our club on a bigger stage.

From our U13 Boys, congratulations to Xavier, Max, Huxley, Rasmus, Beau, Nixon, Harry, Lenny and Reeve on their selection.

Representing in the U15 (2) boys are Josh, Will, Mason, Darcy, Harvey and Mitch.

And in the U16 (2) boys, congratulations to Ryder, Jack, Ashton, Luca, Archie and Oliver, with special recognition to Ryder, who was awarded Co-Captain and took home Best on Ground honours in Game 1 during the week, and Luca, who was named Vice-Captain. An outstanding achievement by both boys.

We also have players from our U14, U15 (1) and U16 (1) teams still to feature, and we can’t wait to recognise them!

To all of our Mounties representing this weekend, enjoy every moment, play with pride, support your teammates, and most importantly, have fun.

After being called up to the U13 Interleague team to help cover injuries, Fiona made the most of her opportunity, earning Best on Ground honours in Game 1 last night.

Mount Martha will be proudly represented by 16 girls through this year’s Interleague program!

Congratulations to Isabelle, Scarlett, Zara, Jolie, Georgie and Isabelle, who have been selected in the U12 squad and will take the next exciting step in their football journey.

Charlie, Fiona and Harlow will proudly represent the club in the U13 program, while Indiana and Paige have earned their place in U14s.

Billie, Georgia, Ruby, Kaitlyn and Eden will represent the club across U15 and U16s. A special congratulations to Billie on being named Captain and Ruby on her appointment as Vice Captain — a fantastic recognition of their leadership and commitment.

To have 16 players selected is a wonderful reflection of the growth of girls football at Mount Martha, and of the hard work, dedication and team spirit these girls bring every week.

At Mount Martha Junior Football Club, we’re incredibly grateful for the support of local businesses that give back to our community.

Our sponsor, Schnitz Mornington, is currently raising funds for the St Vincent de Paul Society CEO Sleepout, helping support Australians experiencing homelessness and hardship.

On Thursday 18 June, Schnitz Mornington owner Mark and his wife Marusca will spend a night sleeping rough in Melbourne as part of the annual CEO Sleepout, raising awareness and funds for those experiencing homelessness. Their goal is to raise $5,000 to help create safer futures for vulnerable Australians.

Throughout June, customers visiting Schnitz Mornington can support the campaign by:

This year’s Victorian campaign is supporting women and families escaping domestic and family violence.

Another fantastic weekend of footy for the Mounties!

A special congratulations to Scarlett Frankish, who celebrated her 50th game in our Under 12 Girls team. Reaching this milestone is a wonderful achievement and reflects Scarlett’s commitment, determination and love of the game. Congratulations, Scarlett! 👏🏉

Before the weekend’s matches got underway, Scarlett, Isabelle, Hendrix and Bella from our Under 12 Girls lent a hand at Auskick on Saturday morning. It was wonderful to see our players supporting the next generation of Mounties, helping with drills, encouraging our young footballers and building connections across the club. Moments like these are what community footy is all about. ❤️

A huge congratulations to two of our U15 boys, Ollie Allen and Harvey Wagner, who have both reached the incredible milestone of 100 games this season ❤️🖤🤍

To pull on the jumper 100 times takes commitment, resilience, teamwork and a genuine love for the club and the game. Both boys have been an important part of the Mount Martha JFC community and we’re so proud to celebrate this achievement with them.

After many of our players watched Scott Pendlebury’s incredible milestone game on Saturday night, there was plenty of inspiration flowing into Sunday’s matches — and some special moments of our own too, including Fletcher Wilson taking an absolute screamer in the U16s clash against Mt Eliza! 📸🏉
