R&R Community Sound Journey (Sunday)

Hey everyone,

Letting you know that our R&R Community Sound Journey is happening this Sunday, and we’re down to the final spots.

We’ll be weaving together didgeridoo (yidaki), Native American flute, duduk, guitar, koto harp, shakuhachi, overtone singing, and guided meditation - creating a space for rest, reflection, and shared presence.

Bring a mat or rug, something warm, and anything that helps you settle in.

It began with yoga, and it’s widening into something simpler and more fundamental: practice.

Not mastery or performance.
Practice. With all its beautiful imperfection!

How humans learn.
How we embody attention.
How we regulate, relate, make meaning and stay in contact with ourselves and each other.

I’ll be sharing things I’m practicing and learning..
movement, breath, voice, craft, reflection, mental health practices and ways of holding attention. All the frustration and difficulty that comes up too!

It’s not a teaching platform or a finished system.
It’s just me learning in public from things I’ve done for decades and am still learning, to totally new things I’ve never tried!

Body, mind, relationship, culture and world explored slowly.

Take what’s useful. Leave what isn’t. Practice in your own way:)
