Senior Women’s Results | Weekend Wrap

With just two senior fixtures on the schedule this weekend, both sides put in spirited performances despite the results not falling our way.

The scoreline wasn’t what we were after, but there were plenty of positives to take away. Missing four players from the squad, the group continued to compete and work hard throughout the match.

With a number of new faces finding their feet in the side and several younger players continuing to gain valuable experience at this level, the team is building week by week. The results may not be reflecting the progress just yet, but we’re seeing improvement and growth every round.

Mount Martha Soccer Club is introducing ASCENT — a human-centred program designed to support our coaches and strengthen the environments our young people train and play in.

ASCENT is about connection, belonging, communication, wellbeing and creating team environments where every player feels supported and able to thrive.

Our Junior Mariners delivered another fantastic weekend of football with plenty of goals, strong performances and some memorable results across the club.
