There was a time not that long ago when car trips with my kids meant screaming. The whole way. Every time. 😩 Kallie was the WORST!
Nothing worked. Nothing soothed her. We'd just white-knuckle it and hope we got there fast.
I remember how anxious I’d get at the thought of having to leave the house with her. I also remember thinking it would never end!
But it did.
Every storm passes, eventually.
And now? Cruising along, both my kids giggling away in the back seats (and not fighting) is one of my best parts of my day.
If you're in the screaming-car-trip phase right now… hang in there. It genuinely does pass. 🌿
What's a hard phase that felt endless but eventually passed for you?

Since my last post, things went downhill.
The whole family got sick. Kallie especially. It’s been a rough few weeks, and my energy has been really low.
By 5pm most days, I just want to crawl into bed. 😩
I’ve been here before. With chronic fatigue.
But this time is different, because now I actually understand how to care for my body.
And mostly, that means caring for my mind.
The stress. The worry. The mental noise. That’s the bit that drains me fastest, more than anything physical.
So instead of pushing through like I used to, I’m resting when I need to. Saying no to things. Being gentler with myself.
It’s not easy. I don’t always get it right. But I’ve had to learn the hard way.
If you’re in a rough patch too, whether it’s sickness, exhaustion, or just running on empty… be gentle with yourself 🧡

And here we go again!
We don’t seem to have much luck with our holidays!
A week away planned, we were meant to leave yesterday afternoon, but here we are, at home, both kids asleep on the couch - SICK!
I’ve done several loads of washing the past few days with all the puke 🤮 They have both had temperatures ranging from 39-40C since Monday.
We’re all packed, fridges loaded, ready to go. Just riding it out to see how the next 24hrs unfold.
Ah, the joys of kids. Things hardly ever seem to go according to plan!
Just trying to keep them hydrated as best we can 💦

Merry Christmas in July! 🎄😂
To everyone else crazy enough to celebrate Christmas twice a year… I see my people.
Honestly, a cosy winter Christmas is the Christmas we never get in December here in Australia - so why not!
Hope your weekend’s full of something fun and lots of smiles ♥️
Who else celebrates Christmas in July?? 👇🎅

Have you ever worked towards a dream or a goal that feels like one step forward and then 5 steps backwards? 😩
That’s been me lately.
I’ve been quiet on here because I’ve spent every spare minute working on a vision that sometimes feels like it’s moving further away, not closer.
Early mornings. Late nights. The little pockets of time between the kids.
And honestly… so much self doubt has crept in.
The ‘who am I to do this’ thoughts. The ‘maybe I’m not smart enough’ ones. They get loud when you’re tired.
So I’ve had to keep reminding myself why I started.
That I’m building something I truly believe will help other Mums 🧡
That slow progress is still progress.
And that the messy middle is part of every single thing worth making…
So if you’re in the messy middle of something too… keep going. We’ve got this. 🌿
What’s the dream you’re quietly working on?
I’d love to know I’m not alone in this 🫣

If I’m honest…
Some weeks I feel like I’ve got it together. And some weeks I’m just… winging it. Holding it all loosely and hoping nothing drops. 🙈
This week’s been a bit of both.
But, I’ve learnt that’s just how life goes. There’s no version of this where everything’s perfect all the time. No matter how it looks from the outside.
So if you’re limping into the weekend feeling like you didn’t quite keep up… same. And that’s okay.
You did enough. You ARE enough. 🌿
Wishing you a beautiful weekend 🩷

Something is on the horizon…
I’ve been working on it quietly, early mornings, late nights, in the little pockets of time I can find.
As a Mum of 2 little ones, I appreciate how challenging it can be to find the space and time to work on a dream you’re passionate about.
For all the Mums out there trying to be everything at once - you’re amazing!
Don’t ever give up on yourself 🩷
Let’s support one another 🙌

Do you ever go to a social event, chat to a few people, and come home feeling awful about yourself and your life?
That was me on Sunday….😔
I won’t list every negative thought running through my head on the drive home. We’d be here all day. 🙈
But here’s what I’ve had to keep reminding myself since…
We’re not all running the same race.
Some people started with a head start you just can’t see. A different set of cards, right from the beginning.
So comparing where YOU are to where THEY are is like judging your own race against someone who started ten steps ahead, on a completely different track.
You don’t see their worries. The negative thoughts that go through their minds. The things they don’t post either.
We’re all just people. Running our own race. Carrying things nobody can see.
So if you’ve ever come home feeling small… you’re not alone. I was right there this week.
Be gentle with yourself. Your track is your own. 🌿
Anyone else ever feel like this? 👇😕

These are the moments I don’t want to miss. The ones that easily get brushed by if my mind is somewhere else…
That’s the whole reason behind everything I create.
Not to add more to your plate. To take a few things OFF it - so there’s a bit more of you left for the moments, like this, that matter.
If your brain feels really scattered lately, I’ve got a few simple things that might help. They’re all in my links on this page.
Do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. 🌿
