Elimination and Qualifying Finals have been run & won 🏆 so it's good news & bad 🗞👍👎 for the Gauntlet tipsters

Bad news is that we have lost over 75% of the field & it's only week 2 🤣🤣

Good news is that those remaining ( i.e. those who tipped Geelong, Adelaide - nobody tipped Hawks or Doggies 😮) are in the running for a pretty big pot 💰💰💰

Forms for the Semi Final Round will be available from Monday afternoon at the club bar - 2 games to choose from; Freo v Cats in the West or Brisbane v Crows up north.

Commiserations to those who lucked out but all the best to those who chose wisely ☘️☘️

Second last Thursday cribbage tourney was played today with a few large winning margins. Results are - Ross being the ultimate winner, Sandra second and Connie third, so the ladies did ok today.

Join us tomorrow for our penultimate Thursday arvo crib tourney for the season.

Well attended again with Ross taking out the number 1 spot 🥇and Paul & Michael filling out the minor placings of 2nd🥈 & 3rd🥉 respectively.

Only a few weeks left to hone your skills during the weekly games for the Super Sunday Cribbage Tourney which is being played on 13th September 2026. There are still a few spots left for the Super Sunday games. Contact Michael if you are keen to fill one.

The Club is running our 3rd Annual AFL Finals Gauntlet Competition over the coming 5 weeks.

It will be similar to the competition last year but with a few novel changes

The RULES & process will be on the noticeboard tomorrow afternoon and the Tipping Form for the Wildcard Round will be available at the bar.

Well almost 6 months ago, on 5th March to be exact, we began a journey together with many of u to guess the winners for each of the 25 weeks of the Home & Away Rounds.

The game just completed between the Hawks and the West Coast Eagles marks the end of that road and we congratulate 🎊 👏 Raylene, our Vice President, in taking out the win for this final Round; enjoy the cash mon amì 😉 💸 💰

The highs & lows of the competition were experienced by everyone but we want to take this opportunity to thank every tipster involved for making each week exciting and fun.

We hope the winners feel well rewarded ☘️ and commiserate with those not so lucky 😕

We look forward to repeating the effort next year of course and trust you will join us again 😊

Biggest field of the year so far and the rounds were sometimes fast and furious but John Hardacre finally emerged victorious 🥇 over Cindy Comer 🥈; John settled for a ticket in the Annual September Tourney where he can win big $$$💰💰💰

Coming in the bronze medal positions today 🥉🥉were our newcomer Lorraine (a very friendly addition to the group) and Mark, who has been with us for a few weeks now, with both competitors showing plenty of skill to capture the minor placings 👏
