Eighth Gate Jiu-Jitsu

Hi everybody,

We will be pushing our kids classes back one more week to Monday the 14th, we've got a couple more things we need to prepare and will run out of time this weekend trying to prepare everything.

The 14th will be a free trial class, so we'll see everybody at 4:30PM.

Hey guys!

We are super excited for our first class this Thursday!

Just to answer/clear up some questions:

- Your first class is free!
- Our kids classes are currently for ages 5-10.
- The gym does indeed have a bathroom.
- Our first class this Thursday will be a no gi class so just bring whatever clothing is comfortable and you're good to go!
- You're welcome to bring a friend or a plus one!

Meet Reece your weekday BJJ coach.

Reece brings over 8 years of martial arts experience to the mats.

He's a brown belt under Sam Traish (BMMAC).

Catch Reece on the mats during the week or teaching the kids class every Monday.

Meet Adam our resident black belt!

Adam brings more than 10 years worth of martial arts knowledge to the mats.

He's a black belt under Keller Locke-Sodhi and also trains out of Grappling Education Sydney, one of Australia's most elite grappling gyms.

We have just received word that our council approval is now in place and we have been given the clear to officially open!!!

Our first adults class will be next Thursday, we will do a no gi class on the day, so bring some water and head in 10/15 minutes before class to sign a waiver, be shown the facility and you're good to go!

We look forward to training with everybody next week!

Meet Brendon our MMA head coach, co-founder and assistant/back up BJJ coach.

Brendon brings years of grappling experience, he recently placed in the top 3 in the Apex Submission League, holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has years of karate and MMA training.

We are pleased to announce our class schedule for when we open, please note the schedule is subject to change, we will be looking to add more classes soon!

Hey guys! The new build is still coming along, the mats are now framed in and the framing is ready for paint.

We are beyond excited to share our new space with everybody, we will release our times table for new classes shortly.

We will also be installing a creche for parents that would like to train but can't get a baby sitter, this should be ready to go in time for opening.

Will post more updates as the build continues to progress!

WE ARE MOVING!!!

We have received the keys to our new premises and start the fit out this weekend!

Are are also excited to announce kids gi and no gi classes!

We will also be running MMA classes for those who want to include striking/kicks into their skills.

We will announce a grand opening date soon with a new time table, if you're interested in starting shoot me a message.

This is a massive step for us and I want to thank absolutely everybody that has trained with us over the last 3 years, you guys have made this and we appreciate it, we look forward to giving you guys one of the largest and best training facilities in all of the Central West.
