We already shared the awesome news that both our 2nd and 3rd Division Senior Men secured their league titles, but today the 3rd Div boys made it even more special!

With a massive 6-0 victory in their final game today, they have officially cemented an UNDEFEATED season! What an unbelievable effort and consistency from the whole squad. 🔥⚽️

But the job isn't done yet—now it's time for finals footy!

⚽LOCAL STAR GOES INTERNATIONAL⚽

A massive shout out to Obike Coghlan, an outstanding junior member of the Mudgee Gulgong Wolves FC, who has been invited to travel to Madrid, Spain to participate in a formal training, development and player assessment program with CF Pozuelo de Alarcón.

As part of the program Obike will spend three months (September to November) under the full time supervision and guidance of the CF Pozuelo de Alarcón technical staff as part of an elite talent identification program.

This is a huge opportunity for Obike and the club could not be prouder to see a young member of the Wolfpack be granted an opportunity like this in an international setting.

Obike is a wonderful young man, an outstanding footballer and a great representative of our club and region. Above and beyond his performances on the field, Obike recently secured his Level 4 Referee Accreditation and was the recipient of the club’s Billy and Bluey Junior Male award in 2025.

The canteen is the heartbeat of our game days, but we are currently running short on hands over the next few weeks!

We are calling on our amazing club community to help us fill volunteer shifts on Saturdays from 22 August to 19 September, anytime between 8:30am and 3:00pm.

Whether you can spare an hour before a game or want to help out for the afternoon, every single bit helps us keep the hot chips rolling, the coffees brewing, and the club thriving. 🍟☕️

What a season it has been for Mudgee Gulgong Wolves FC! We are thrilled to celebrate both our 2nd Division and 3rd Division Senior Men’s teams taking out their respective League Competitions! 🐺🔥

Even better? BOTH teams have gone UNDEFEATED throughout the league campaign! 🛑

3rd Division: League Champions! The boys led by Coach Jason are unbeaten, but they aren't done yet—they have one final regular-season game this weekend to cap off a flawless campaign. Let’s get behind them 11 AM Sunday Field 2 to finish the regular season strong! 💪

2nd Division: League Champions! A brilliant undefeated run to lock up the title. Huge credit to the players, Coach Jed, and everyone involved! 🥇

The silverware doesn't stop here. The Finals Series competition kicks off on Sunday, 6th September! Both squads are locked in to carry this momentum into cup footy and chase down the double.

Our 2026 season is wrapping up, and we are turning our home ground into a massive football festival on Saturday, September 19th!

From our youngest U3s taking the pitch in the morning to our Senior teams battling it out for the Grand Final in the afternoon, this is the day our ENTIRE club comes together.

🎪 GALA DAY: The U3–U11 Gala Festival (8:30 AM - 1:00 PM Field 2)
We are packing the pitch with micro-games, music, and non-stop touches. No high-pressure finals for the young ones—just pure football and fun for every single player! 🏅

8:30 AM: U3-U6 Fun & U7 3v3 Carousel

9:45 AM: U8 & U9 5v5 Trobada

11:30 AM: U10 & U11 7v7 Group Stage & Placement Matches

🏆 THE FINALS: The Championship Showcase (9:30 AM - 3:30 PM Glen Willow Stadium)
Once the morning festival wraps up, grab morning tea and lunch from the canteen, line the fences, and bring the noise for our U12-U15 Boys and Girls, and M-League Seniors as they play their official Grand Finals on the main pitch!

9:30 AM: Gold Cup Final

11:30 AM: Sapphire Cup Final

1:00 PM - 3:30 PM: M-League Plate & Grand Final

❌ Shouting instructions from the sidelines

When parents and supporters shout instructions, it creates confusion for the players on the field.
