Our support remains unwavering. 🤝

With over 100 local clubs across Queensland standing together to call for change on issues directly impacting players, families and volunteers, it’s important that this collective voice continues to be heard.

This is an ongoing conversation, and we remain committed to standing alongside the clubs as we continue to advocate for the changes needed to support our game, protect our volunteers and put players first.

Still standing together. Still united. Still advocating for change. 💪

🏆💛🖤 A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO HANNAH! 🖤💛

We are absolutely thrilled to share that our very own Hannah, Mudgeeraba Soccer Club’s Referee Coordinator, has taken home the 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗸𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹 – 𝗜𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀 at the Football Queensland Convention! 🏅👏

Honestly, we had no doubts Hannah would be a standout for this award! The dedication, passion and care she puts into supporting our young referees is second to none, and this recognition is so incredibly well deserved.

Hannah’s impact extends well beyond our club, supporting referees right across the Gold Coast and helping build a stronger, more supported refereeing community. Whether it’s encouraging young referees, helping them build confidence or supporting referees across the Coast, Hannah consistently goes above and beyond and makes a genuine difference to our game.

Hannah, we are SO proud of you! 💛🖤 This award is a fantastic recognition of all the time, energy and heart you put into supporting our referees and our football community.

Please join us in congratulating Hannah on this incredible achievement! We couldn’t be happier to see your hard work recognised. 👏🏆

💛🖤 FIELD UPGRADE UPDATE | SID BIGG PARK

We’re pleased to share an update on the significant drainage improvement works currently underway at Sid Bigg Field 1 & 2.

The subsurface drainage installation across the field has included drainage trenches excavated, pipes installed and trenches now backfilled.

The next stages include rectification works to the retaining wall south of the clubhouse, followed by topdressing and construction of a southern berm to help redirect stormwater away from the playing surface.

Fencing will remain in place over the coming weeks to allow the turf to recover and establish following the drainage works.

A big thank you to Glenn for his advocacy and Council, specifically Peter, Jodi, Ash and the infrastructure team for their work and ongoing efforts throughout this project.

We look forward to welcoming our players back onto improved fields as the works progress! 💛🖤

Queensland football clubs are united.

Mudgeeraba SC are one of more than 100 clubs that have come together with one clear message: major decisions affecting players, families, volunteers and community clubs must be transparent, properly explained and developed through genuine consultation.

Our clubs may represent different communities, regions and competitions, but we are united in asking Football Queensland to:
- Pause the proposed 2027 Competition Access Fee model
- Pause the current Affiliation Agreement process
- Provide full financial transparency
- Consult meaningfully with affected clubs
- Work with clubs toward a fair and sustainable way forward

This is not about resisting change. It is about ensuring that change is reasonable, properly planned and does not place unfair costs, risks or administrative burdens on families and volunteer-run clubs.

We remain committed to working constructively with Football Queensland for the benefit of everyone involved in our game.

Together, our clubs are stronger. Together, our voices must be heard.

⚽️💛🖤 THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN 🖤💛⚽️

We’re excited to announce that Ross Fenech and Christophe Tanguy will both be returning for the 2027 season!

⚫️ Ross Fenech — First Grade Head Coach
Ross will continue to lead our FQPL First Grade program in 2027, building on the strong foundations established over the past season.

🟡 Christophe Tanguy — U23 Head Coach
Christophe will return to lead our U23 program, continuing to develop the next generation of players within our senior pathway.

With both First Grade and U23 finishing 3rd in 2026, and our U23 side going on to claim the Grand Final, we’re locked in for 2027 — with promotion firmly in our sights. 🔥

Same coaches. Same pathway. Bigger goals. 💛🖤

Welcome back, Ross & Christophe!
