Helena Basketball Club

Helena Basketball Club is for juniors through seniors, enjoy games within Hills Raiders Competition.

Helena Basketball Club was founded in 2012 to allow Helena College students to form teams and play in the local domestic basketball competition hosted by Hills Raiders Basketball Association (HRBA). We commit to having at least 70% Helena student-based teams and invite players from the local community to join our club. Invited to play are juniors all the way through to senior teams. We welcome you to join our community to play under our club banner. The club is run by parent volunteers and operates under the Helena Sporting & Cultural Association Inc. For all enquiries please visit our website and we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible.

🏀 Grading is underway for the first 3 weeks🏀

Wondering why grading takes place during the first 3 weeks of the season?

Grading helps ensure teams are placed in the most suitable divisions, creating fair and competitive games for everyone!

During the first few weeks, teams are observed and if needed adjustments are made to divisions before the final fixtures are released.

All the best and have a great Summer Season!

🏀 HELENA BASKETBALL CLUB – UNIFORM SWAPS 👕

Have you ordered the wrong size? Or your uniform isn’t fitting quite right? We can help!

We’ll be holding a uniform swap this Saturday the 17th, from 12:45pm–2:45pm upstairs in the Committee room at Mundaring Arena.

If your player has already played in their uniform and it’s not the right fit, bring it along and swap it for a different size! We can wash the returned one if needed.

Feel free to share with other club families!

SUMMER BASKETBALL STARTS NEXT WEEK! 🏀 Who’s ready to get back on the court?

Games kick off from Tuesday 13 October!

We’ll start with 3 weeks of grading, followed by 7 weeks of regular games before breaking for Christmas.

A few important reminders as we get ready for the season:

🏀 Fixtures: Initial fixtures are now available via PlayHQ. During grading, fixtures will be released weekly, so please check regularly both time and location.

🏀 Uniforms: Team Managers will have your team’s playing jerseys ready for game day, along with any purchased shorts. Jerseys will be collected after each game.

🏀 TeamPay: Codes will be shared by your Team Managers shortly. Please join your team as soon as you receive your code to help avoid delays on game day.

🏀 Game Day: Please arrive ready to play wearing your HBC shorts and appropriate basketball footwear. Remember, no jewellery is permitted, fingernails must be kept short and long hair tied back.

A huge thank you to our committee, Coaches, Team Managers and all our wonderful volunteers who have been working behind the scenes to get everything ready for another season. As a volunteer-run club, we couldn’t do it without you!
