FINALS ARE HERE!!

Ramblers in their first Top Grade Finals since the clubs reformartion in 2014, Years of hardwork on the pitch, Volunteering behind the scenes and support from our sponsors have lead to where the club is today.

The Reds travel to Mypolonga oval to Play Mypolonga Cricket Club, Hopefully the Weather stays good and we see a full days play, a Rain out will see Ramblers knocked out of the finals due to finishing 4th with Mypolonga Advancing.

The Boys and the Club Appreciate the support of any and all who can get down to Mypolonga to support them on in one of our clubs proudest days.

The Club will also be Honoring Daniel "Happy"" Gilmour by wearing Black armbands in Support of the Gilmour Family and the Contributions made by daniel over his life to the Murray Towns Cricket Association

A Grade Round 15 Results Vs Tailem

Ramblers won the Toss and Elected to bat, despite a rough start ealry on with a few quick wickets, Skipper Riley Vanson steadided the ship with a knock of 44 off 53, Supported by Mack Wenske who toiled hard for 39 off 66, knocks of 16 by Bayde Ellis and 10 by Eli Woidt down in the order proved critical with ramblers bowled out the last ball of the innings.

With the ball was were the Win was secured though with impressive spells from Keynan Harradine (3/37 off 9 overs), Lual Kelei 3/25 off 9 overs, Bayde Ellis (2/32 off 9 overs) and a final over effort by Eli Woidt

Victory secured our spot in our first top grade finals since the Clubs Reformation in 2014.

C Grade Round 15 Results Vs Tailem

Tailem won the toss and elected to bat, Tailem did well with the bat early with Fraser Mcdonald knocking 60 and Paul Baxter to knock 56 as werll before they were undone by the bowling efforts of Wayne Slee (3/18 off 6 overs) and Vice Ricky Morris (3/31 off 6 overs), a Special moment was also had by Izoebell Mccarthy who took her first Senior wicket in her first game off her first over whilst her fatherAJ proudly watched from Mid on.

With the bat Ricky Morris was the standout knocking 22, Supported by Wayne Slee on a quick fire 13.

Our Drakes MOTM goes to Ricky Morris for his Effort with both Bat and Ball.

The A Grade head to Tailem where a win will secure finals for the A Grade and the C Grade host Tailem at home.

A Grade Round 14 Results Vs Meningie

Ramblers won the toss and elected to bat.

Ramblers started the game strongest this season yet with opening duo Brayden Mcdonald and Keynan Harradine setting the tone early with ramblers being 1-156 when the first wicket fell with Brayden Mcdonald knocking 51 before being caught by Jai Willis from the bowling of Cameron Reid, from their ramblers were 2-183 when Keynan Harradine had the clubs knock of the year of 111 runs before being caught by Tom Rankine from the bowling of Paul Mcnicol, Riley Vanson got maongst it to making 40 before being dismissed as well, Ramblers Eventually settled at 7/241 setting their highest score since Feburary 2024 against Jervois.

Meningie started shakily being 1/9 when Tom Rankine was Caught by Bayde Ellis off the bowling of Keynan Harradine, from there meningie worked hard to be 2-80 when Zeke Mcnicol (10) was undone by the handywork of Jack Billing, Meningie continued pushing hard being 3/161 when Stewart Willis was dismissed on 54 after being stumped by skipper Riley Vanson after a Masterclass from Bayde Ellis, things startred to get shaky at 5-201 when Kane Mason (80 Runs) was finnaly undone by Keynan Harrdine being caught and bowled, in the End Meningie needed 36 off the final over when the bowling of Eli Woidt saw ramblers home by 26 runs.

Our Drakes Fruit Shed Man of The Match is Keynan Harradine for his knock of 111 and 3/26 off his bowling.

C Grade Round 14 Results Vs Mypolonga Cricket Club

Ramblers won the toss and Elected to bat.

Luke Thompson Got off to a good start making 20 runs on his return to Cricket, making his mark with 3 quick boundrys before before being bowled by Damien Bates, Wayne Slee Contributed and knocked 22 off 22 and Lachlan Rayson alo got amongst the runs hitting 22 of 59, "AJ" Billy Buwulda contributed with 18 from 28 and Tristan Zadow got amongst the runs as well posting 11, Mypolonga Bowled Well with Mostyn Payne (2/16 off 4 overs) and Noah Martin (2/24 off 6 Overs) being the main danger men.

Mypolonga came out the gate hard with Brayden Hein Not out on 50 after opening, Cameron Jones scored 33 before being caught by Jayden Vokes of the bowling of Skipper Chops, Tom Carstairs fell for 9 after being felled By AJ Billy Buwulda clean bowled, However Damien Bates ( 27 not out) and Brayden Hein saw the Visitors clear just after drinks break.

Our Drakes Fruit Shed Man Of The Match goes to Wayne Slee for his score off 22 runs and his fielding efforts and team spirit.

C Grade Round 13 Results Vs Jervois

Jervois won the toss and went into bat.

Jervois Started off strong with an Opening Partnership of 97 from Robbie Herzich (54) who Retired not out and Kobe Hobbs (47) who was dispatched by Tristan Zadow who took his First Wicket for the club, Next Trae Salter also caused issues for the reds before being Dismised on 49 Being clean bowled by the express pace of Skipper Dylan Ham, Honurable Mentions to Jack Bailey and Robert Bird for their overs as well who toiled hard but didnt get the payoff they wanted from their overs, Ricky Morris proved hard to play against with 0/13 off his 4 overs as well, Wayne slee Claimed 2/39 for his efforts off 5 overs, from here Jervois had a bit of a collapse with Dylan Ham claiming 6/23 from his 5 and Dropping his own hattrick at one stage, Ned King held the line for jervois thought (32) before being caught behind by Jayden Vokes.

at the change of the innings Ramblers tried to come out the gates strong with a Sensational knock by Wayne Slee making 32, Unfortunatly the Bowling of Jervois's Ned king was too strong for the Reds middle order taking 6/27 off 8 overs, Honurable mentions however for Naite Daniels who scored 8 runs including his first boundry, Bain Coulter whos only improving further game by game held strong to hit his 4 runs, Kain Daniel though dismissed early hit the Biggest 6 of the day which left even Jervois Impressed.
