You know what? We don't care if you're doing it perfectly!
Everybody is different and there's no one size fits all. What an exercise looks like on one person will look different on another and that is OK! And if you're trying pilates for the first time, well you gotta make some mistakes sometimes, that's how we learn. Our classes are a safe place for you to explore movement for your body and what feels good for you. We're here to guide and support you, whatever that looks like for you.

It's a common question we get asked and the answer is: Absolutely!
Pilates is an excellent way to encourage healing and strengthening for injuries, and we can offer different options to cater for what you need during class. We can also work with your healthcare professional to ensure youβre confident when moving with us as part of your healing.
Most importantly, let your teacher know at the beginning of class, or have a chat to us beforehand so we can make sure youβre comfortable and supported.

If you've been coming to our classes for a while you'll know we don't take ourselves too seriously. Weβre up for a bit of banter, a joke or three (oh and we've been told we're bad at counting?? π€·ββοΈ)
We just love having a chat and sharing a laugh with our members and what we love even more is watching our members connect and get to know each other. Whether you're new to the area or just new to Move, our studio is more than just a place to exercise, it's a community to connect, have fun and make friends!

Meet Kelly, the latest gem to join our team of instructors! π Kelly is reaching the final stages of her training and is ready to bring her kind heart, compassion, and a deep desire to help everyone move in a way that feels good. She has been a mover with us for a long while now and has a rich background in yoga, Kelly's excited to start making moves with you starting this May. We truly believe that a healthy well rounded person has nothing to do with how you look. For a long time there has been a focus on exercising for how it makes you look, but we don't buy it!
For us exercise is about feeling physically and mentally strong and being able to live a full and happy life! It's the energy boost you get from moving, the mental clarity you gain from focusing on just you and the fun and laughs along the way! π
