โ
Another BIG step closer โ
After lodging our appeal to the Council Assessment Panel (CAP) decision in November, we are excited to announce the CAP has accepted our Compromise Proposal! Taking in to account the CAP and the wider communityโs concerns to our original Development Application, our compromise proposal resulted in 4 out of the 5 members voting to APPROVE the Bridge Watersport Park development. While this is a HUGE milestone, we still have a few planning hurdles ahead. Stay tuned..

Murray Bridge water sport park rejected
PLANS to build a cable water sports park in Murray Bridge have hit a major snag as the Rural City of Murray Bridge's assessment panel voted not to approve the project.

๐ง Major set back but not the end! ๐ง After years of planning, overwhelming public support, fantastic vision from Murray Bridge council management, approvals from all government agency referrals (DEW, EPA, State Heritage, DIT), with a detailed report recommending approval from council planning staff to the 5 member โcouncil assessment panelโ (4 independent and 1 elected member) we have been left disheartened with a 3 - 2 vote refusing Development Approval. We are now left weighing up our options.. Stay tuned..
