Calling all coaches! We are excited to launch the first of our new suite of online coaching education for aspiring basketball coaches across the country.

🏀 Aussie Hoops Coach 🏀
We are pleased to announce that Alisha Barton will become our new Aussie Hoops coach. A quick message from her below.
Hello, I am Alisha Barton and I Will be the Aussie Hoops basketball program coach. I am very excited to take on this role and watch these young players develop. I have a lot of basketball experience, both playing and coaching. I've been a member of the Murray Bridge Basketball Association for 13 years, both locally and in the Association. I also played for the Eastern Mavericks for District. I've had the pleasure of coaching Bullets teams in recent years and have 4 years of coaching experience within Aussie Hoops. I’ve been blessed to grow up in a basketball family with extensive experience and knowledge from which I have been grateful to learn from. I am eager to contribute to the development of fundamental basketball skills by creating an inclusive and exciting environment for our future Australian basketball players.
Also a reminder to register for Aussie Hoops if you haven’t already, sessions begin this Friday, the 13th of May.

FUNDING PLEDGE FOR REGIONAL STADIUM | Tony Pasin Plans to redevelop the Murray Bridge Regional Stadium has been given a boost today as Member for Barker Tony Pasin announced that a re-elected Morrison Government will commit an additional $3 million towards the projects second stage.

🏀Aussie Hoops Coach🏀
We are looking for a new Aussie Hoops lead coach to run our program.
Position description:
Aussie hoops is a pivotal step in a young players basketball career. It is designed to make learning the game easy, yet fun and enjoyable for all involved.
Key capabilities:
- fun and engaging
- safety focused (coach the court, full view of all attendees at all times)
- be engaged, the more into it you are the more the kids will have fun!
- keep it interesting, short attention spans make things difficult!
It was also recently decided that the MBBA would make an honorary payment to the successful applicant for lead coach as we have struggled to find someone to fill the position over the past couple of years.

We will once again be running a weekly Aussie Hoops program on Friday nights from 5:30-6:30.
