Appreciation Post 🙏

Yesterday we celebrated our birthday with an amazing event for our members and the local community.

These events are always a team effort to pull together and they simply don’t happen without the support of our incredible network of local businesses and volunteers, and we want to take a moment to recognise and thank the ones who show up for us and our members time and time again.

Global Games doesn’t happen without the people who help bring it to life.

And to the people who kept the whole thing moving for 13 hours straight.

Dj Vic, keeping the energy high from first heat to last. Jeremy “Rookie” Austin, holding down the mic and the floor all day. Andy Crawshaw, somehow everywhere at once with three cameras in hand, capturing the moments we’ll be reliving for a long time.

So grateful to every partner and person who helped make Global Games what it was!

Anyone can say they have community, but you can’t fake this.

13 hours of watching people show up for each other.

Owners, managers, coaches, members and volunteers judging heats while pushing every athlete on the floor to keep going.

Locations showing up in numbers to back their people. Competitors giving everything they have, then turning around and cheering just as hard for the person beside them. 

An HQ team that spent a year building this moment.

And when the final heat crossed the line, 13 hours into competition, people were still there.

Still cheering. Still celebrating. Still together.

This is a moment we’ll remember forever. 

Global Games is a competition, but this is what it’s really about.

You can build a workout. You can build an event. But you can’t manufacture a community like this.

Grateful for every person who made Global Games what it was. Can’t wait for the next one.

Last night we had the incredible honour of being awarded the 2026 Fitstop Community of the Year 🏆

This means everything to us.

To be recognised and celebrated amongst our peers for the thing that matters most to us, and the thing that underpins absolutely every decision we make. Community 🤝🧡

Our gym, like all others, is a place people come to train. To get fitter, stronger, healthier.

But it’s always been about so much more than that to us and for everyone that steps through our doors.

It’s a place where we connect with each other, support each other, lift each other, challenge each other and challenge each other.

It’s a place where friendships are formed, where genuine bonds are made. A place that feels safe, welcoming and real.

This community and this culture hasn’t happened overnight, it hasn’t happened because of any single person, or any single action.

It’s a result of thousands of touch points over the last 4 years. The conversations, smiles, sacrifices, high 5’s, handshakes, hugs, helping hands. Time spent in the trenches with each other. Time spent celebrating with each other. And most of all time spent encouraging and supporting each other.

To our amazing team and their families, our members and their families too, and to everyone that’s ever been a part of our journey, thankyou.

To every single Fitstop Community that is out there making an impact, we are proud to be out here doing it with you and grateful for everything you all do and have done to represent this amazing brand and make it what it is today. You are the most important business in your area. Never forget that.

To PETE HULL Bec Hull and the entire Fitstop team, thankyou for being so passionate, so driven and so invested in helping us bring Fitstop to as many people as possible. This organisation and the people in it truly are amazing, and we’re so grateful to be part of it and playing our part in the bigger vision.

It’s been an amazing ride so far. And the best part is, there’s so much more to come.
