We're excited to share that improvements are underway at the Murrumba Downs Pool. A huge thank you to the City of Moreton bay and Queensland education as we work towards welcoming everyone back to an even better facility! 🎉

As part of these improvements, the pool is currently undergoing repainting works and other minor improvements. Unfortunately, this means our planned reopening has been delayed while the works are completed to the highest standard.

At this stage, we are expecting to reopen on the 19th of September. Please note that this date is subject to change due to unforeseen delays that may arise during the completion of these works.

We will provide weekly updates to keep everyone informed of our progress and any changes to the reopening timeline.

For our current members, your membership access won't go to waste. All current members are welcome to use their pass at Lawnton Aquatic Centre during this closure period.

Today marks the end of the 2025-2026 Season!

As April comes to an end, we would like to sincerely thank all of our members and patrons for your continued support throughout the season. A huge well done as well to our incredible staff team for all of their hard work and dedication over the past 8 months. We hope you’ve had an amazing summer with us, and we can’t wait to welcome you back when we reopen on September 1st, 2026.

As the warmer months come to an end, we’d like to thank our amazing community for another fantastic pool season!
📅 Pool Closure: 30th April
🏊 Last Day of Swimming Lessons: Friday 24th April
🤸‍♀️Last Aqua Aerobics class: Wednesday 29th April
All Membership payments will be paused over the winter break, and we look forward to welcoming all our swimmers back next season!

Royal Life Audit Result 2025 🥇
TEAM ACHIEVEMENT - PLATINUM STATUS!

We are incredibly proud to share that we have officially achieved “PLATINUM” status in our Royal Life audit from last year achieving gold! 🙌🏼

This means a 100% compliance score and an outstanding 98.47% safety score. It is a massive achievement and something to be proud of! 😊

Special thanks to Mat Norrish, Ryan Fraser and the entire Murrumba Downs Swimming Pool team for all the leg work they put into helping us achieve this great result!

We would also like to extend our thanks to our City of Moreton Bay Council contract partners for their ongoing support and assisting us in achieving these results!
