Our primary goal in our breeding program is to breed well natured alpacas with calm temperaments. We are a small enough stud to allow us to spend quality time with each and every alpaca, and this in turn teaches our alpacas to trust humans more. We train and handle our alpacas calmly and respectfully and give each alpaca time to understand what it is that we are asking them to do. From fully understanding their body language and how they think we tailor our training to suit their needs. We offer a range of alpacas for sale: pets, herd guards, pregnant females with cria and herd starter packages at reasonable prices. We can help you if you’re having handling issues with your alpacas or if you want to learn a different way of handling alpacas in a more kind and respectful way. We offer guidance and training hits and tips and are more than happy to share any information that we have learnt along the way.

🥂🦙 MOVING FEAST IS COMING TO BLACKWATTLE! 🦙🥂

The countdown is on to the 20th anniversary of the Makers of Murrumbateman Moving Feast - and we’re very excited to be part of it again!

This year, we’re bringing you a relaxed brunch-style grazing experience, featuring:

🥐 Buttery croissant
🥓 Crispy bacon
🌭 Savoury chipolata sausage
🍳 Scrambled eggs
🍄 Sautéed mushrooms
🍓 Fresh seasonal fruit

And because no feast is complete without a drink, your meal comes with your choice of a sparkling mimosa or non-alcoholic fruit punch. 🥂🍹

$30 per serving | Saturday & Sunday, 3–4 October
Moving Feast menu available 9am–4pm

And don’t forget the cake! Our fridge will be packed with our usual delicious homemade cakes and slices all weekend which sounds like the perfect way to finish your Moving Feast visit.

Come for the feast, stay for the farm, meet the alpacas and llamas, browse the Farm Shop, enjoy the views and soak up the country atmosphere.

The Makers of Murrumbateman Moving Feast is only 28 days away and we can’t wait!!

This year we are offering a relaxed brunch-style grazing experience featuring buttery croissants, crispy bacon, savoury chipolata sausages, scrambled eggs, sautéed mushrooms and fresh seasonal fruit. Served with a Sparkling Mimosa!

We will be open from 9am making us for a yummy breakfast start to your day!
