What a weekend for our Lindisfarne / Murwillumbah Juniors!

An incredible three days at the QLD School State Championships, with our rowers coming home with 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 4 Bronze medals, along with multiple semi-final and final appearances.

A huge achievement for this growing group, but even better was the way our athletes, families and rowing community supported one another throughout the weekend.

So proud of our Lindisfarne / Murwillumbah Juniors and excited for what’s ahead!

A timely reminder…

⚠️ Athlete & Club Safety Reminder ⚠️

Heel ties are a simple but vital piece of rowing safety equipment. Before every training session, athletes and clubs should ensure that heel ties are:

• Securely fastened
• The correct length
• In good condition and free from damage

In the event of a capsize, correctly fitted heel ties are essential in helping athletes exit the boat safely and quickly.

Take a few moments before each session to check your equipment. Athlete safety depends on it.

🚣 Stay safe on the water and make heel tie checks part of your pre-row routine.
