The under 13s wrapt up season 2026 Saturday at the clubs presentation day. We have waited till now to thank the boys on helping the mini roos through season 2026 also.

We have trained together all year, and Danny and I couldnt be prouder of the boys willingness to help our 9s to 11s when called upon, and at ever oppurtunity. Everyone of you makes us all at the Myrtleford Savoy Soccer Club so very proud. From our first Saturday morning training, to gala days, to mini roos presentation day you were there.

We in particular thank pictured below Oscar, Steven and Walter who themselves are mini roos aged and played 2 age groups up, to ensure the under 13s could field a team.

Our 2026 Albury-Wodonga Football Association Mini Roos competition in Wodonga come to a conclusion today and what a success it has been. This is a huge achievement for the Myrtleford Savoy Soccer Club junior program and one which started with expert care, attention and passion some 5 years ago.

This year we proudly had teams in our under 8s, 9s and 11s compete for a total of 7 rounds at both Willow Park and La Trobe Wodonga. Overwhelming feedback from opposition coordinators, coaches and AWFA representatives has been how great it is to see Myrtleford back, and playing a high calibre of football.

Thanks to our coaches, families and of course our mini roos and we look forward to growing our team bases in 2027.

What a huge year for our mini roos in 2026. We all enjoyed a beautiful lunch catered by Club Savoy, Jodie and her team always excell for our event a huge thank you from us all today.

Our 5s to 8s went home with a brand new size 3 ball to keep them busy in the off season thanks to another donation made to the kids. Medallions for all the 5s to 11s and big smiles all around.

Rowdy Watson and Oli Barbisan capped 2026 off as winners of the John Hymuss purpetual trophy for commitment, integrity and teamwork. Two well deserving winners indeed. As always, we thank our coaches and volenteers for all you do ⚽️

A epic final day for our 5s to 8s immersing themselves in various playstations, team building activities and lateral thinking exercises. We welcome new children every year, some with first day jitters but all stay to flourish, grow and build into the long journey at the Myrtleford Savoy Soccer Club.

Todays mini roos, tomorrows leaders. Presentation day next Saturday at Club Savoy is always the perfect way to finish the year.

Its freezing at training tonight but the Myrtleford Savoy Soccer Club mini roos have some new goals to keep them busy. With funds raised this year via donations and raffles we have been lucky enough to invest further into our program, and provide the very best for our little legends.

Matt and the team at SPORTFIRST provided the avenue to goal, thanks again for your advice and help to source the very best available.
