OneHeart Boxing Academy After 6 weeks Oneheart opened on the 7th of March by Denise and Bruce Morcombe in memory of their son Daniel.

OneHeart Training Academy Inc.has been founded with the focus on safety and awareness of our children and youth of Nambour.It has very humble begginings with the grassroots being planted 8 years ago as Daniels Dragons,a group of 5 children training in my backyard.Three were my grandsons Isaac,Dylan and Jacob Walker aged 5,7 and 9.They chose the name for our little club in memory of Daniel Morcombe for whom I have been a part of the Foundation for almost 10 years.Within months the club grew to 20 plus members then kept growing.I trained all my children free of charge with sessions everyweek.We had gradings every 6 months with Denise and Bruce Morcombe presenting awards.After a years break I recognised the need to give our children and youth of Nambour a place they can call home to channel their restless energies and curiosities to benefit themselves and the community of Nambour.After a proposition to our children and youth I set the plan in motion.With a fantastic response from Drew Westbrook of Ray White Mooloolaba,our very own Ardleigh Cleveland,owners John Sorrentino and Tracy,Oneheart had begun.

OneHeart volunteering Mondays and Wednesdays to train these amazing ,wonderful, happy people. Thank you Leon Stensholm, Founder, and Mark Gore, manager, for your trust and belief in us. We are loving it. Checkout Lookout 07 on Facebook. They do an amazing work with 12 to 25 year olds. Reminds of the early days in OneHeart C Square. Thank you to my sister Colleen and brother in law Jim for sponsorship of OneHeart. They were the motivation to start OneHeart 11 years ago. I was volunteering with organisations mainly the Daniel Morcombe Foundation, , training kids in my backyard, called ourselves Daniels Dragons when the pushed me to start my own not for profit club. Now it is in the best hands that I could ever wish for, Jayda Glazebrook. There motel is situated in the North Burnett in the quaint town of Biggenden 80klm from Maryborough. It faces the beautiful Mount Walsh surrounded by farms and a gorgeous open sky at night. Shall you ever be in the area call in to say hi or stay the night in there super comfortable rooms.
