Minto Volleyball Social Comp

New volleyball season at Mt Annan. Registrations now open for the new season of competition.

Looking for an extra team to make up even numbers at the Mt Annan comp. The new team needs to register and paid by next Thursday. The comp is growing in Mt Annan having last minute entries joining the comp.

We have a willing team to join the last 8 weeks of the comp, but we need another team to make it even by next week. Rego will be cheaper because there's only 8 weeks left, however the comp will continue straight into the next season. Where you can then pay for a full season.

Another local social volleyball comp has started at Mt Annan Leisure Centre. Some of us have joined in at this competition. Come support and have fun.

Thursday nights. Competition round starts this coming Thursday.

Our new competition volleyballs have arrived!
We have our last free volleyball session tonight from 7pm-9pm before competition starts next week.
Come down by yourself or bring a team. Free is always good!!! :D

As I watched this video footage that I captured, I noticed that I needed to make mention a few more people during this season. Not many females played during this first season but there were at least one in Maligi's Heroes, Soy's Diggers and Mac'Fields. Good on you girls for stepping it up to the boys and taking their spikes and giving it back to them.

Then, there are (I might have this wrong but I'm going with it) the 3 Visesio sisters from Yeah or Nah, you know who you are. One of our greatest supporters in this comp who are always there to lend us a hand and give some of you boys are good run for your money when it came to playing against them in Yeah or Nah, especially in the finals. Thank you Pandora and Maligi for your kind words.

Got to mention our youngest and smallest players in this too, Shannon and Little Chris. No Fear I think was their motto. Keep it up boys!

Hi Volleyballers,
Finals and last week for this comp! 3rd/4th playoff at 6.30pm and Grand Final at 7.30pm. There'll be a short presentation for our finalists and some prizes to for our 1st and 2nd place teams.

Thanks for supporting volleyball in our area and we would also like to know what people are keen on in the near future to continue growing our game.

A few people have said they'd be keen on same format but trying to even up teams for a fairer comp and others have said just see who wants to come and down and organise teams on the night.

IMPORTANT!!
Please note the following changes to the social comp:
* Games will now commence at 6.30pm and 7.30pm
* There will only be games on 1 court therefore for the remainder of the competition 2 teams will have a bye - see draw
* The remaining games will be scheduled so that all teams have played each other once
* Top 4 teams will then go through to the semi-finals

I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support in establishing volleyball in the area and welcome your feedback in the coming weeks in order to run the competition again in the future.
