So proud of Sherille! She has been consistent with her training and lifestyle for over three years now!

Sherille's training story...

''I started training with Luke in February 2018 as I had been recently diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). As a result, I was motivated to improve my respiratory function and my overall health.

I had never done any gym work before, i'd been to the gym before, I'd been to a gym previously but I was unsure of what to do that was right for me. I wanted a personal trainer that was focused on what I needed.

I knew Luke had continued studying for years and that gave me confidence in him.

Luke's holistic view on training beyond just the physical was an added bonus. He gave me nutritional guidance at times, occasionally we would fill in gratitude journals, and sometimes we did meditative breathing sessions. You get the whole package when training with Luke.

I turned up with a lower back injury and I didn't think I would ever be able to do any weights. Luke knew exactly what exercises I needed to start with and progressed me through exercises rehabilitating any weakness I had.

Luke knows how the body works so well and I love that he has the ability to make slight changes to the position I am in during exercises to take any slight twinge away or make an exercise feel like a natural movement.

I started training with Luke at 77kg and have lost 10kg without really dieting, but, I have changed my diet. I am eating more vegetables and avoid foods that contain gluten. I try and walk 7-10km a day four times a week. I occasionally still enjoy junk food and a glass of wine but if I'm worried about the calories, i'll just go for another walk''.

Would you like to drop a few kilos?

I would love to hear from you!

Bec’s training story...

"When I started training with Luke in February 2018 I was 73.5kg and I'm now 61.5kg. I just needed to turn up and do the first session. I was then motivated to start doing sessions with Luke twice a week."

"In February, before I started training, I was 73.5kg. I had no energy or motivation to do personal training sessions. I was nervous to start training with Luke, but I knew I just had to turn up and do the first session. The first session went really well and it motivated me to start training with Luke twice a week."

"I started doing a 6km walk twice per week and i also have a rowing machine and some weights equipment i use at home. I fast until midday, drinking water and an orange juice at 8am. I eat two meals per day. For dinner, i often eat a meal from hello fresh."

3 hours of standing each day burns an extra 30,000 calories per year. The equivalent of running 10 marathons.
