What a fabulous autumn day for Narrabri & District Tennis Association (NDTA) to host the North West Regional Matchplay Series (RMS) tournament today. With almost 50 registered players for the day, the courts and surrounds were prepared perfectly for optimum play by our Junior and Open players from as far away as Armidale/Tamworth and Gunnedah. Our guest of honour for the day was Narrabri Shire Mayor, Mr Darrel Tiemens, who generously gave his time on a Sunday to visit our facilities, and inspect our recent Council grant for privacy and environmental screening/mesh, the latest addition to modernise and aesthetically enhance the grounds, as well as support the players whilst on site. NDTA are sincerely grateful for Council's ongoing support to our Club, as well as the wider community, with such great opportunities to apply and be successful in grant funding. A big thankyou to Mayor Tiemens for his time today, and we have invited him back for a match anytime *watch this space 😀🎾.

Note: Congratulations to all the Narrabri Tennis Juniors today, we had amazing results, and they just keep getting better, not sure if it is because of Coach Murphy's dedication, or because the Mayor was on site, so we were definitely flying the flag for Narrabri Shire. Congratulations, and well done indeed 👏 🏆🎉🎾

The Australian Summer of Tennis has hit the courts across the nation and Narrabri Tennis has on offer an opportunity for your children to come and enjoy a taste of the tennis action.

Our upcoming clinic will be part of the Australian Open Holiday Program presented by Weet-Bix and will take to the court from Monday 12th January.
