𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝑬𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 🫀 *Viewer discretion advised - some may find the video confronting * SEEH recently treated a horse that presented with Atrial Fibrillation (AFib), which causes an irregular heart rhythm. The elected treatment for this horse was a procedure known as Transvenous Electrical Cardioversion (TVEC). This procedure involves the placement of catheters deep into the heart to allow a defibrillator impulse to discharge across the atria and return the heart to a normal rhythm. In this case, the TVEC successfully treated the Atrial Fibrillation in this horse, returning his heart to a normal rhythm. It requires a team effort to perform this kind of procedure, which was expertly lead by our medicine specialist Dr Laura Nath. With our beloved employee of four and a half years moving onto different pastures we are looking for a new weekend recruit to join the team.
Shifts include:
Friday 7am-12pmish & 4pm-5pm
Saturday 7am-12pmish & 4pm-5pm
Sunday 7-12pmish.

Must be competent handling all types of horses including stallions, have the ability to work autonomously, have attention to detail and be reliable.

Duties include but not limited to; cleaning stables and feeding horses, medicating horses and putting horses on the treadmill.
