After over 30 years running a riding school, we have recently made the very difficult decision to change direction here at Balmoral Equestrian Centre by closing the Riding School and focusing on the agistment, training, breeding and sales sectors of our business. Julia and Jamie will still offer private lessons through the week and the Equine Pathways Australia Program will still continue to be based here, but the Kids Club Saturday Program is no more.
We look forward to this change of direction and would like to thank all the Kids Club families who have enjoyed their time with us over the years.

To all our valued clients
With the Corona virus taking its toll on all of us, I wish to advise that in adherence to the advice issued by the Deputy Chief Health Officer on Wednesday March 25, stating that all non- essential businesses (including equestrian centres- Clause 5.2 b) should close, we will unfortunately be ceasing operations effective immediately. There will be no more riding lessons until further notice and at this point, agistees are asked to also refrain from visiting until we have clarification on a few points. Firstly , if we continue to maintain social distancing, whether from an animal welfare perspective, agistees will be allowed to continue to ride and exercise their horses. We have asked this question of the Australian Horse Industry Council and they have referred it to the Chief Veterinary Officer for clarification. We will keep you updated but in the meantime, please rest assured that we will continue to care for your horses as usual and if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hestitate to give me a call.
Stay healthy
Cheers
Julia

Balmoral Equestrian Centre is looking for two very special horses to join our school horse team. Our schoolies are treasured members of the Balmoral family and we have recently retired two of our true legends (Rocky and Apples), so we need two new special horses to fill these enormous shoes! Our schoolies work a maximum of 3 days per week and a maximum of two lessons on each of those days, so the role is perfectly suited to ponies or horses who are stepping back but not yet ready to retire.
All the Balmoral schoolies live together (max 10 horses on their own 20 acre block) and are fed, rugged, shod, treated by vet, dentist etc as required, and are always in beautiful condition.
If you have someone in your horsey family who this role may suit, please let us know.
