Natte Bealiba Football Netball Club

The Natte Bealiba FNC have been members of the Maryborough Castlemaine District FNL since 2011. A proud club with an even prouder history!

A merger between Natte Yallock and Bealiba FC seen the NBFNC commence playing in 1962, competing in the Lexton FL. The Natte Bealiba Football Netball Club is a proud, community-driven club representing the heart of Natte Yallock, Bealiba and the surrounding district. With a long and passionate history, our club brings together football and netball players of all ages, along with families, volunteers, sponsors and loyal supporters who make our club what it is today. We are built on teamwork, respect, resilience and community spirit. From junior development through to senior competition, the Swans strive for success both on and off the field. We are more than just a sporting club — we are a place where lifelong friendships are formed, local pride is celebrated, and community connections are strengthened. Whether you’re a player, supporter, volunteer or sponsor, you are an important part of the red and white family.

2027 FOOTBALL COACHING ANNOUNCMENTS

We are thrilled to announce our first reappointments for season 2027, as well as new co-coaches for our Reserves Footballers! Excitement levels are HIGH!

RESERVES FOOTBALL - Trent Mortlock & Emmet Smith
2 best mates that are looking forward at having a crack at bringing our reserves footballer back into final contention. Both Trent and Emmet are extremely excited about the prospect of coaching the future generation of Natte footballers and helping them adapt into senior players. 2-time Senior Premiership players with the club respectively, along with 2024 Senior Premiership Coach we look forward to seeing what the boys can do, well done boys!

UNDER 15’S FOOTBALL - Dean Graco
Dean is back on board with the 15’s boys for a 3rd consecutive year, he has had an exceptional record with developing our future stars and has produced great results both on and off the field! The 15’s group are extremely excited to have Deano back on board guiding them in 2027!

UNDER 12’S FOOTBALL - Stephen Ross
Our only ever Under 11.5/12’s coach is back once again, 2-time premiership coach and club legend Towny is working with the youngest generation of the club. This group of young lads genuinely love being coached by Towny and the club is excited to see what he can achieve after a fantastic 2026!

We had 59 fleece average weight of 8.12kg, total weight of 479.2kg, estimated at $15.40per kg, total amount $7379.68 at the current wool price. Thanks to Elders Avoca, Adam Millard for doing the judging and to all the wool growers for their fleece, each fleece was valued at $125.05.

2026 THANK YOU

As we bring the 2026 season to a close we would like to congratulate all of our award winners from the weekend's Best & Fairest Counts. Some stellar season from these players with great recognition, but thanks needs to go to all players, supporters, volunteers and coaches. Clubs like Natte don't run without the hard work and dedication of these volunteers.

It's been a year of big events, most notably Stephen Ross's 400th Senior Game which was an incredible day in itself. Bruce "Jock" Ross was awarded Life Membership and Dean Graco the Grant Jardine Memorial Best Club Person. Ella Tranter ran away with the 2026 A Grade Best & Fairest while Aidan Medlyn won the Selwyn Ross Memorial Senior Football Best & Fairest in his first season at the club.

Lastly to the executive committee, bar, canteen ladies and recreation reserve committee. It's been a tough and unprecedented year but everyone has stood up and helped out where needed. We thank everyone for their time and understanding throughout the year. We look forward to announcing some coaching appointments in the coming weeks, with all football coaches appointed. Netballer coaches can apply through the link posted previously for all junior roles.
