Photos of winners across the four days are fine examples of fitness and cerebral planning! However plaudits go to all who entered and notably, one day’s win doesn’t guarantee the next win! Croquet has a fickle nature!

Nedlands Croquet Lawns have been used to capacity once again this weekend with an update to come. However last week‘s country weekend and GC competitions were crackers! It was ably managed by Val as Jack of all trades: – teaching to score cards and handicaps, making sure refreshments were in place, organising player starts and the final scrutiny of scoring additions and subtractions before announcing winners. She had a band of willing helpers but also acknowledged how the players helped dressing and un******ng Lawns, and John Doepel on the end of an interstate phone at the ready to salve any hiccough!!!! Everyone contributed their little gift to make the days a success ’t think it Play it! #

We’ve had competitions galore at NCC lately! However the third year of Mori‘s cup is a favourite. The fun and hilarity in the mix of competitive camaraderie was brilliant! Mori’s generous gift of green fees and prizes is appreciated with her welcoming players at all levels. Of course winners are not always predictable! Congratulations to David Gould as the winner, with Lachlan Millar and Kerry Revell winning runners up prizes !!!Thankyou Mori !! Don’t think it! Play it!

Alan Sands is proud of his personal achievement but never boastful. Alan comments positively on the excellence and high standards of Victorian play. He further adds fine praise to the hospitality and professional standards of the Nedlands Club.
