It’s been a tough day for the sidecar community and the wider racing community. What should have been a great round at The Bend for teams that came from all around Australia sadly ended early. We won’t be posting any more on the matter or putting up a blog.
Leonard and Royce want to thank all those that supported the team involved, and then to everyone that offered support to us as we dealt with the realities in the pits.
We’re now here ready for a chat to anyone that was affected.

A little update from the team on what we've been up to in the New Year and how our first meeting of 2026 unfolded!

It’s been a weekend of ups and downs, which kicked off with taking turn one upside-down in Friday practice!
After some minor repairs and pain killers, we got out for three races today in varying wet and dry conditions across the circuit.
Running as a combined class, we scored a second overall and first of the F2s in some really close scraps!
Thanks to everyone who came out to watch and help over the past two days, plus all the sidecar community for making it happen.

Happy New (race) Year 🎉
Where else to hold our first meeting for 2026 than the Coopers Brewery 🍻
Did they accept our sponsorship proposal? 👎
Are we going to drink all their beer anyway? 👍
Best wishes from us, see you all trackside!

We had a top day out yesterday at the Phoenix Motorcycle Club of South Australia ‘Race your Mates’ event. It was so good to see club racing back out at Mallala, well done to the club and volunteers for making it happen.
So many SA locals, including Leonard, got their start through building confidence in bracket races. It’s a great entry point to the sport and hopefully that can continue.
On the three-wheeled front, our outift ran smoothly in the warm weather and we managed to take home 3 from 3 wins, a nice way to cap off a big year!

Checkout the latest issue of Australian Road Rider Magazine for a feature on how our team first got off the ground!
Most of all, it talks about how helpful the sidecar community has been from the get-go as we’re pretty new to the game.
We only took the leap after a mate gave Royce some track time on their outfit, so hopefully someone picks up a copy and is motivated to get their sidecar out the shed for a run or put a solo rider on it so they can get bitten by the bug too!

We picked up our third ‘Best Presented’ trophy for the year at the final Aussie round in Perth last week! 🏆 We reckon they should have been worth championship points but that fell on deaf ears 😜
On a serious note, the fact three different sets of officials picked us out of the field is a testament to the amazing work of our sponsors:
Underground Designs for the Marlboro-inspired livery. They also helped the boys out with helmet decals this year ❤️ thanks heaps, Marty!
The team at Ricondi Motorcycle Apparel and RACE and ROAD for our awesome leathers, onya Smarty!
All of our team merch looks the part thanks to Neil Eckermann at NE Promo. We’ve even got team socks, which definitely shaved a second or two off the lap times 😂
No point looking smart if we can’t go fast, so a big thanks to Brian Rosser of BJR Racing Products for all his hard work in the shed this year! Along with GC Motorcycles for keeping us moving.
And of course, a massive thanks to our mates at Prorealty and Adelaide All Glass for their ongoing support 👍
Aaand the only reason we’ve got speccy pics to show off online is thanks to Deb Lock, who’s trudged through swampy outfields at tracks all over Oz this year 📸

After a big year across five states, heaps of laps and great people… we’ve taken out 2nd place in the 2025 Australian F2 sidecar championship 🥈
WA turned it on for the final round, huge thanks to the local sidecar fraternity who organised a stellar meeting. Well done to winners Mick Alton and Dave Rumble on a great years racing, we never would have reached this point without you both pushing and encouraging us.
Although we had a race-ending issue (not ideal when your sprocket and carrier tries to take out a competitor) in race 2, we can’t thank Locky and Patrick Clancy enough who got us back out on track for the last race. Wish Deb Lock was here for some great action shots!
The big takeway - we are now the F2 sidecar lap record holders for CARCO.com.au Raceway (formerly Wanneroo/Barbagello)! A nice way to end the year and have the record come back to SA with us!
Thanks to everyone who’s helped over 2025, especially the SA crew who always lend a hand at meetings around the country!
Full report to come on the blog but for now, we’re off to enjoy some well earnt Valentino Froffies!
